This place was my favorite for a long time once I discovered. I visit typically 2x a week on most weeks. As of lately, my orders have been completely messed up. I ask for double meat every time, and yet the last no kidding 5-6 times, I have been cheated. Then when I attempt to call them to complain, THEY CLOSE EARLY!!!! Posted business hours say till 9pm but yet here I am outside at 7:21, fully shut down. I called 5x before I got here. Weights and balances will be hearing about the fake business hours for sure. And unfortunately as I’m ranked in the top 10% of all food reviewers on Google, this is the absolute last time I’ll ever waste my time and money here. I’d recommend doing the same.

I spoke with the manager Dani after placing this review and they were very apologetic for the mistakes they were making. I’ve decided to change my review from 1 to 5 stars because they have been consistent for the last 4 months since then in meeting higher expectations than before and value honest feedback. My face place is back!!

I came to this restaurant when I was student here, when they first opened & they always served the food right and always gave excellent service but tonight it felt like their service wasn’t there tonight, they have a new chef “Sandra L” She messed up my order 3 times, 1st time I didn’t even make it out of parking lot before I checked it and I order green enchiladas plate & she served me chips with green sauce on top with onions & then I came back and instead maybe mentioning they ran out of enchiladas she served me that & then I was able to get different order Birra Taco Plate, I ordered that plate multiple times before and she didn’t add beans and rice just 3 tacos slightly cold and extra side of tacos, they also messed up on my mom’s order Nachos and usually the Nachos bigger plate and there’s more stuff to it, she gave a small thing nachos with barely anything to it. We did come back and the person who took our orders was very nice and helped us get it fixed but I think it will be awhile until I come back until they get new chef because she had no idea what she was doing and to come back 3 times to get theses orders fixed

Favorite Taco spot. I work overnights and its one of the few i know I can stop at to get something for my 8am dinner. Staff is always great and Rene especially makes sure to cover whatever I need when he’s running.

Rene was very friendly and helpful in deciding what to order and made sure we were 100% satisfied with our quality of the food and seeing if we needed anything else when we finished. Would definitely recommend people to come here!

My experience was just awful but the two young men at the front counter was very apologetic and respectful that I had to return to the restaurant 3 times because our simple order was lacking My daughter ordered a green enchilada plate instead she received a plate with crumble chips with green sauce and onions on it AND We returned to the restaurant .
Chef Sandra L told the two young men that she ran out of enchiladas. Our SECOND visit was when we realized that the Rice and beans were not added to the meal And our THIRD visit same night when I realized that my nachos only had cheese and meat ONLY no tomatoes, jalapenos or onions REALLY!!!!
My daughter and I have always enjoyed the food at The Taqueria but tonight changed everything, I won’t be returning any time soon

Maybe going to this place at 8pm was the downfall, but here is my experience. I heard all the hype about this place, but was disappointed to say the least. We were served food that seemed like it was old and left out. The temperature of the food wasn’t even warm and we were the only customers there. The rice was literally two spoon fulls and was hard. The prices were also pretty high for a taqueria.
Quesabirria plate: 3/10
Nuggets and fries: 7/10 (my kids liked it, but $8 for some frozen chicken nuggets and fries?! Come on!)
Tacos de chorizo: 3/10 (had a fishy flavor)
Beef tacos: 7/10 (best thing here)
Tacos de tripa: 6/10
Horchata: 4/10 (tastes packaged)
I hate to give this place this rating but it’s not right serving old cold food to a customer at full price.

I had a GREAT experience with Forney Taqueria!!! The food was delicious and savory, and the sauce was also delicious and spicy the way I like it. Rene was also really friendly and helped me choose out of the many options on the menu. I had lots of fun convos with Rene while eating there as well. The place was also comfortable to eat at! Definitely going here again!!!

Their inventory is conducted before their morning shift. Placed an order, waited 15 minutes, just for the cashier to state, “we don’t have beef”. Pretty sure the cook knew that beforehand. TERRIBLE SERVICE!

It was a super easy to choose from the menu, Rene was super cool and help me choose my meat option for my torta because i was stuck in between the various options this place had.The cook Marco was very consistent with his accurate precision.Food was great definitely coming back.
