Lady, owner was nice, and fast service, but… I ate here today, again. I’m sorry to say this, but I have tried really hard to like this place. They have been in Oregon City for maybe 6-7 years. I have lived here for 12+ years or so, and go here 5 or 6 times a year. I used to work in Clackamas, by the Kaiser hospital, and ate at that location in Clackamas 2-3 times a week, as I worked next door, and it was great. Loved it. Oregon City location is not as good. I like my chicken a bit charred. And for some reason they do not understand what that means. A very small, extra salad dressing, is $1.00 (see picture). And I no longer like the teriyaki sauce, something has changed. I will not be back, as there are better local places, with better food, and better prices to go to.

Located in the parking lot of Safeway up on Molalla Ave. Very nice people that run it. Portions are a food size and the spicy chicken and teriyaki sauce is great. Not always a fan of the chicken as it can be chewy or not cooked enough. Rice is good and so is the salad. Easy for a quick stop and service is fast. Lots of seating to eat or wait.

I have been craving Teriyaki salad and this is the only place in the area that has it. I’ve been here several times in the last week and service has always been fantastic! The chicken was good but the beef was better. I recommend getting the beef plate with extra salad dressing.

I work nearby and decided to try this place out but was so disappointed. The Portland mall 205 location is so good, but this one is totally different and not sure why? The chicken here was dry and the teriyaki sauce was very watery. The salad was actually good, thus the two stars. But overall, really not worth the $12 imo. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location and will not be recommending.

I wanted to go to Roxy’s but it’s a bit further away. I saw this Teriyaki place close to my house and thought I’ll go give it a try. I noticed nobody was there when I arrived which was concerning. I went in and looked at the menu and honestly, nothing looked good to me. It was the blandest Teriyaki food I might have ever seen based on their pictures. I thought to myself should I just go to McDonald’s next door? Then I thought, well I’m going to spend about the same, but I wonder if they can do a Yakisoba stir fry. I ask the lady at the counter if they can do a Yakisoba stir fry and she says yes we have that on the menu. On the menu, it shows a picture of Yakisoba noodles with no sauce and vegetables on the top with no sauce and chicken on top of that. The picture looks like a dry meal that is unappetizing. I decided to pass on that option of the “Yakisoba stir fry”. I now look for a second choice and see fried rice that doesn’t look that appealing based on the pictures, but give it the benefit of the doubt and ask if I can do the chicken fried rice but instead of white rice, have it with brown rice. She says yes, we can do that. Great! Not exactly what I was looking for, but good enough. I pay for my meal and sit down. Two minutes later it’s bagged up and she says it’s ready. Wow, that was fast. Concerning fast. Again, I give the benefit of the doubt, take my food and go home. When I get home, I open the bag and box of food to find a bed of brown rice, chicken on the top, and a side of what is suppose to be salad. Not what I ordered… I was really bummed out and wish I would have spent the time to drive to Roxy’s or just go to McDonald’s next door. I’d rather suppose local when possible, but I’m not sure how my order was so wrong when I was literally was the only one there and they were not working on any other orders, but instead just sitting around. I’ll try almost anything once, but I won’t try this place again.

Do not associate this establishment with the Soy Grill on Sunnyside road. This place isn’t even close to as good! Small protein portions and the only part of the meal that had any warmth was the rice! Thier has to be better teriyaki in Oregon City!

Came for lunch
She asked if we were to-go or dining in…
We were dining in…
Brought us our food in a to-go container, fork and 1 one ply napkin

“May I have a plate please? “ no that would be $2 ?

It would be fair to assume a restaurant with a dozen tables and a menu that ALL show a PLATE of food on the pics would be a nice place to sit down and eat..

NOT at the SOY GRILLE!

Greasy off colored chicken

Egg rolls tasted like hot oily water

FYI Oh teriyaki is only a block away…
