My wife and I’ve been in a couple times to grab a bite, it being the closest place by the library. While the seating is small, it certainly isn’t dirty or dingy, and the prices aren’t outrageous for being right across the street from a college. But the pizza itself is meh, and the dough really is greasy.
The REAL problem came when I foolishly tried to order delivery. I don’t know if the person who took my call had a hearing problem, but they got EVERY element wrong … from my card number, to my address (which I reiterated to the person TWICE, in my rather loud booming voice), to what we wanted on it, and he even didn’t quite understand me saying “PIZZA” as opposed to a sub??? The delivery person went to the wrong address, and to top it off, the pizza itself was unusually thick: more the Greek style prevalent in New England (and which we hate) rather than the thinner ones they usually make. Never again.

no complaints! love this place love the people. the workers are super chill. i went in and asked for a recommendation cause i wasn’t sure and i was not disappointed! when i got my food the only thing he said was to come in earlier next time so i could get fresher bread still great all around!

I know it says they close at 10pm, but alas, this is a falsehood. If its much past 9pm, i would not count on being able to order food. The staff are to busy pre-closing and doom scrolling to take orders after that ♂️ Why advertise a 10pm closing time just to turn potential customers away from 9:30 on??? CLOSE AT 9:30, and advertise that fact!!! So guys like me who get outa work at 9:20 dont get their hopes up for a meal only to get blank stares and turned away cuz “we already cleaned everything…so ♂️” Setting up customers for disappointment like this is WILD to me. I will NEVER BE BACK!!!

We ordered a cheese pizza and sat out fro t. Someone came out and handed us the pizza. We walked home opened the box and it was a mushroom pizza. I called to tell them its not the right pizza and they gave me a hard time because of there mess up. The women on the phone had a bad attitude when explaining to her the issue. Dose that look like cheese? Not ok.

My first ever writing a review but Had the worst soggiest pizza of my life last night delivered so just had to warn others ! Wish I had read the previous reviews ! Half toppings slid to one side ! Thin crust which is my favorite but this was beyond thin under the toppings ! Next day tried leftover cold ! Just as soggy ! Reheated the last of it tonight and the crust just wouldn’t crisp up ! First and last time ! Usually get Florence Pizza, which is always superb, but was closed by the time I decided to order ! You have been warned !

Last night I ordered the Amore special pizza, delivered. I’ve had it before and it always used to be great. It arrived on time with some unexpected kerfuffle about the credit card charges and the tip. This Amore Special was different from previous versions. It was all eggplant, no other toppings. and IT WAS TOO SALTY TO BE EDIBLE. I wanted to email the business about the problem, but their “website” is just a DoorDash/GoEat24 link with no contact links for the pizzeria itself. So I decided to post here and promised myself never to order from Pizza Amore again. Pizza’s gone to compost.

Probably my last time ordering from here which is a shame since I’ve been getting food from here for as long as I can remember. Ordered through doordash and when I received my ordered, i was missing a few things and one order was just incorrect all together. I called to see if I could get the missing items delivered through their delivery service.
The phone was passed around and after explaining the situation to two different people I waited on hold for 10 minutes while listening to the employees argue whose fault it was and ultimately was told all I could do was reorder the food – with a 10% discount. When I expressed that I had already paid and that was ridiculous, I was hung up on.
Absolutely horrible customer service. Waste of money and loyalty. Go somewhere else. Florence pizza is great.
