Wow, what a gem! This shop offers hand crafted and classic coffee favorites. For the quality, prices are shockingly reasonable too.

The morning atmosphere here is so warm and welcoming it started my morning off with some positive energy. The shop is cozy, farm house trendy, and walled with books.

Check it out! It’s worth a try!

Loved the atmosphere. The owner was not nearly as friendly as you would expect. She wasn’t rude or anything but when we walked in, she was sitting reading a book. Which is fine, it’s a bookstore/coffeeshop. But she didn’t greet us or even chit chat with us at all. And the coffee was just ok. Not bashing the place, I always try and support local coffee shops but

After driving over 2,000 miles and stopping at more coffee shops than I can count, a new friend I met at a gas station told me I had to try this place — their “best local coffee.” They weren’t wrong.

From the moment I walked in, the shop had a cozy, welcoming vibe that made me feel like I’d found the spot to settle in and get some work done. The woman behind the counter (I think she might be the owner) was incredibly kind and genuine.

As I sat there, I couldn’t help but notice how many regulars came through — she greeted each one by name, asked about their families, and it just gave the place that small-town charm that’s hard to find.

Great coffee, great people, and the kind of atmosphere that reminds you what a coffee shop should feel like. Hands down, the best one I’ve visited in over 1,800 miles. I’ll definitely be back.

With the new Cathedral Oaks Parkway now open, I was determined to check out more of the local area by bike.

As a fan of both books and coffee, I figured this this was the perfect place to start. The little cafe is toward the back of the business. On he way, you’re surrounded by a multitude of books organized by genre. The barista was cold and did not greet. I tried to make a little small talk to get a feel for what to order since they’re the experts on what they serve, but he did not seem receptive to the gesture. I settled ultimately on a caramel latte. Seeing as how they also had breakfast sandwiches on their menu, I was also excited to try out their sausage, egg, and cheese croissants. Needless to say, I was disappointed when the barista, without uttering a word, went over to the fridge, grabbed a Jimmy Dean-style frozen sandwich, unwrapped it from plastic, and threw it in the microwave without explaining that’s actually what they served.

The value and quality for drinks aren’t bad at all, but compared to some of their local competitors, I’ve seen and tasted better. The food was a disappointment to say the least, but it does look like they have some interesting baked goods for sale for those interested. Service could use some improvement as well to promote sales on their books as well as inform customers that they’re about to order something they could throw in the microwave themselves. I don’t recall seeing indications for prices on the books, and at this point, I didn’t want to try to start up a conversation with the barista again either.

There is free wifi if you’re looking for a place to work. For better or worse, there is also a children’s area that could be a source of noise if you intended to find a relaxing atmosphere.

I’d be willing to give this place a try again since some of these issues appear to be service-related.

A cozy spot to get a custom made cup of coffee or soda and relax and read a book. I went here with my daughter and we had a GREAT time. My daughter got a strawberry flavored soda that the owner made. I got a chocolate chip muffin. Both were delicious !!!

It’s a really cute place inside…. been there a couple of times for coffee, but they don’t offer anything to eat for a gluten-free vegetarian person though. Would be nice for maybe a gluten-free donut or scone or gluten-free avocado toast. Last two times I’ve been there the lady that takes your order wasn’t very pleasant. No good morning, no communication. She just stood there didn’t say a word until I asked her a question. Maybe work on that so that when a customer comes in they feel more welcomed. Books are nice to read and games they have there to play while you sit and drink your coffee are nice. Overall I give it 3 stars.

Wanting to try something new, I walked into a comfortable atmosphere, with a pleasant welcome. This place has a huge amount of books to chose from and mini games as well. The lady behind the counter, I believe to be the owner was very helpful when deciding what to order, as we were not sure what we wanted to get at first. There was no wait time and very quick service. Everything tasted great and was exactly as ordered. This is a place to relax and even has free wifi for customers and is a good space for doing school work or office work if needed. We will most definitely visiting this place again! If you are looking for a coffee place to visit, I would highly recommended this one.

The gentleman working needs to wake up and stop playing video games. I said I had never been before, and instead of giving me some ideas or tips, he went back to his video game. When I ordered he looked super annoyed, and the coffee was terrible. I got the tuxedo latte and at the bottom of the cup was a huge glob of just chocolate. For $6 for a small I expected a lot better. It’s a cute shop and I love that there’s a kid area, but besides that I don’t think I’ll be returning.
