Honestly, the karampodi idly was the highlight of the meal. The idlies were soft and topped with ghee, which made them incredibly flavorful. They were so good that we ended up ordering another plate of idly again at the end.
The punugulu were also really good, crispy outside, soft inside, and tasted perfect with the chutneys same like Vijayawada punugulu.
The stuffed mirchi was extremely spicy, so it might be a bit too much for people who are sensitive to spice. The egg bajji was a little disappointing for me. I didn’t really like the taste, and the yolk had a slight smell which affected the flavor.
What I really liked about the place is the ambience. The lighting and simple benches give a very authentic feel, almost like sitting at a small street food stall in India. The service was great, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
The chutney is excellent, rich in flavor and very satisfying.
Overall, everything here is really good — food, taste, and vibe.
This is a perfect place for Indian tiffin, and I genuinely loved it.
If you’re looking for 100% authentic Indian tiffin taste, I strongly recommend Babai Bandi. You can happily visit this place anytime! ❤️
Tried dosas (they won’t serve sambaar), small bondas (delicious & crispy), onion uttapam thick & not good and chicken fired rice was delicious
Service is slow and it took like 45mins for to go order. Atmosphere is great
Will visit in future for sure.
Ghee Idli was great.
Poori and Mysore bonda, and masala dosa were good.
Veg fried rice was ok.
Their most popular ghee karam dosa was very flaky and crumbled into smaller pieces upon first contact. Did not enjoy eating it.
I felt the prices were high for the location.
We had punugulu pretty good, onion samosa decent, idly pretty good. I didn’t think the place was cheap but it was also not very expensive.
