The food is delicious, very traditional and authentic. They are open late with a full menu. Our server had a little diffulcty understanding us, but everything turned out perfect. Guacamole and pico di gallo were fresh. Warm corn chips and tasty salsa were brought out as soon as we sat down. Our traditional tacos were fresh and flavorful. Service was attentive. It is a small, modest, colorful place with booths and some tables.
This was a quick bite, at 9pm. not a full dinner time meal. I want to go back and try traditional slow roasted, marinated birria.. Tres leches cake was delicious.!!!

Just ordered food to go and I get home to burnt food. The most horrible food ever. How do you serve burnt quesadillas? You know it was burnt, why not make it over? The rice tasted like charcoal. Everything was disgusting! $27 down the drain!

Absolutely Incredible Mexican Food – A Must-Try for Vegetarians!

Blue Habanero is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to! If you’re vegetarian, you’ll love that they don’t use lard (animal fat) in their rice and beans, making it a truly vegetarian-friendly spot.

The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with great interiors and plenty of parking. It also seems to be family-owned, which adds to the charm.

Now, let’s talk about the food—simply phenomenal!

The chips were flavorful and authentic, with just the right amount of salt and a hint of paprika.

Both salsas were bursting with flavor, and I highly recommend trying their extra-hot salsa if you enjoy a good kick!

The vegetarian burrito was easily the most flavorful I’ve ever had. The spicy sauce took it to another level—every bite was packed with rich, delicious flavors. An absolute must-try!

The vegetarian cheese quesadilla was also fantastic—crispy veggies, a perfectly cooked tortilla, and soft, melty cheese that brought everything together beautifully.

And the best part? It’s all very reasonably priced. Lunch for two cost just $37, which is a steal considering the quality and taste of the food.

If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful, and vegetarian-friendly Mexican cuisine, Blue Habanero is the place to go. I can’t wait to come back!

Back again – this time tried few more items in menu and it was amazing like before. Service is stellar!

You can’t go wrong if you are looking for delicious and authentic Mexican food. The portions are pretty generous, and prices very reasonable. We ordered 4 different menu items to try and loved them all, especially the chicken tortilla bowl.

The food here is absolutely outstanding—authentic Mexican flavors that truly impress. My top recommendations are the Quesadilla Veracruz (extremely spicy, so skip if you’re not a fan of heat), Tacos Birria, and the Burrito Fajita. Each dish is packed with flavor and prepared with care.
The Aguas Frescas are phenomenal—refreshing and delicious, a perfect complement to the meal.
The only item that didn’t meet my expectations was the Nachos Tejanos. Personally, I don’t believe cheddar cheese belongs in traditional Mexican nachos, but that’s just my opinion.
Aside from that, everything I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine!

The food was decent, but not anything to rave about. If you’re craving Mexican, it’s an okay option, just don’t expect anything that stands out. It’s not bad, but it also won’t blow you away. Good for a quick fix, but there are definitely more exciting choices out there if you’re looking for something special.

Been here a few times and I always enjoyed the food.
I don’t consider myself cheap, but I don’t like spending $5 on a small side of rice and $5 on a small side of beans, That’s $10 added to a $16 enchilada for lunch. Then $1.50 for sour cream when your meal comes with sour cream on it. Two of the enchiladas had sour cream one didn’t, so I asked for a small bit of sour cream and they charged me $1.50 I am so against that. Plenty of places around make good Mexican food so I’ll find another place to eat.

I stopped for an early lunch (11:30) on a week day. I was immediately seated and given some very crispy tortilla chips and two kinds of salsa. I ordered beef fajitas, which came with a generous side salad, rice, and beans . The fresh corn tortillas for the fajitas were fresh. A really great meal.
