We had foie gras, bouillabaisse soup, onion soup are good, we like them. For main, the snow fish is very nice, but the duck breast is overcooked, I didn’t expect it is 100% well done.

The dessert soufflé is good too.

Environment is nice, classy and traditional

A classic old school French restaurant in Chiangmai. All dishes were well cooked and presented. The only negative thing was that my order was accidentally change from leg confit to breast orange which has a quite strong duck smell.

Excellent service. Food was delicious, despite the high price. Music is excellent. Musicians are probably in their 60-70s but they were amazing. Wine selection was great.

Very good set menu. I chose the 3000 baht menu with the Roasted Turbot with Champaign Sauce and White Asparagus. The whole meal was wonderful and the music was pleasant jazz with a piano and bass. The ambiance was very nice. Delicious.

Throwback to good old fashioned French dining – set in a lovely house with glass conservatory amidst sprawling gardens. Live music with pianist & vocalist a bit of an 80s throwback – definitely a dress-up date night venue! We enjoyed the fabulous full service starting with a generous sliver of home-made amuse-bouche of foie gras served on toast accompanied by an ingenious walnut fruit macaron, beautiful smooth house red Cabernet Syrah, starters of mussels in a pot so juicy and tender swimming in herby cream soup mopped up with bread. Hubby’s poached egg came a little overcooked and the chef himself was gracious enough to bring out a fresh serving. Main course arrived with the obligatory silver lids lifted off in unison by two waiters to reveal duck confit, mashed potatoes and spinach in cherry sauce cooked to crispy perfection (melt in the mouth meat!) and fresh pasta lobster ravioli drenched in delicious bisquey sauce. To end our gluttony, we enjoyed the caramelised apple tarte tatin with vanilla ice cream and they gifted us a light, fluffy strawberry bavarois cake! A lovely evening and delicious food with great service in a romantic, old school setting.

Beautiful place and luxurious. Service was good but pittyful for limited wine knowledge. Food and menu was simple. They can arrange garnishing or ingredient which lift up more excitement.

It seems the restaurant has no clock and is not well managed. The event organize part allows loud live music in the middle of the community at night. Very bad.

This was my second time here.

The food is good but we were a big group so maybe the chef struggled a bit. I had the duck confit which had breadcrumbs on it which was rather unusual and detracted from it a bit.

They served an excellent lobster bisque.

Slightly lacking in atmosphere.

Last night I experienced the most horrendous “fine dining” experience and customer service. Everyone had ordered there food and the wait started. Around an hour into our wait, we asked them where our food was and they replied with “we are plating your food right now”. After that, we waited for another hour and then 5 of the 11 dishes arrived. At this point we were hoping that the rest of the dishes would arrive soon. Our hopes and dreams were crushed when we questioned the amateur waiters about where our food was. They realized they had given the rest of our dishes to a different table. This is unacceptable service. We were extremely disappointed. The steaks that was served to us were cooked inconsistently and the 2500 baht Kobe beef was blue raw plus it still had silver skin on it. My experience so far was bread and bottled water. We asked the waiter where the manager was and he replied with “she’s on vacation”. Then we went to the front table and asked for the manager. A woman walks us to up and claimed that she is the manager. We were puzzled. The waiter had said that the woman who claims to be the manager is actually the assistant. We did not know who to trust. We confronted the “manager” who blamed it all on the waiters whose excuses were treat they had been working all day. This excuse is not even close to plausible as it is not our fault they are tired. Overall, I was appalled by the customer service and would want them to improve it for future customers. A Christmas night to remember. 1/10
