Wonderful brunch. I had the shrimp and grits with Brussel sprouts. Wonderful curry flavor. We also had a smash burger, which was delicious and the brunch board. Easy parking great atmosphere definitely will revisit.

Went for brunch and had the shrimp and grits, which were absolutely delicious and something I’d definitely order again. The atmosphere was great, and I can totally see this being a nice spot to enjoy live music with a coffee. The staff was phenomenal and super pleasant to talk to.
My only small gripe is that the brunch cocktails were priced almost the same as the food, which felt a little silly. I didn’t have one but they looked phenomenal.

Brunch at The Holland is as much about the setting as the food. Located in a beautifully restored historic building in downtown Mount Holly, the space is filled with natural light that highlights the original brick and gives the room a warm, welcoming feel. I’ve always loved downtown Mount Holly, and this spot fits perfectly into its charm – an easy place to stop after browsing the nearby shops, bookstore, or coffee shop, or before a relaxed walk through town. All staff I interacted with were friendly and professional. Davidson provided exceptional service throughout the meal.
The shrimp and grits were a standout: tender shrimp in a savory, gently spiced red curry sauce over creamy stone-ground grits, finished with fontina cheese, roasted cherry tomatoes, and crispy brussel sprouts. For dessert, the creme brulee delivered exactly what you want, with a crisp caramelized top and smooth custard, finished with fresh berries.
Between the light-filled historic space and its location in a walkable, welcoming downtown, The Holland makes an ideal brunch destination. I’m looking forward to returning to explore more of the brunch offerings and the dinner menu.

Went here for a date night with my husband recently and had the best food. I am sharing a few photos of the lettuce wraps, meatball sliders, and short ribs because everything was incredible. Truly the best restaurant in Mt Holly, Belmont, and honestly much of Charlotte. I cannot recommend it enough.

The service is just wonderful. Everyone is warm and attentive, and the owner, Phon, is often there. She is genuinely kind and you can feel how much pride she puts into the place.

Had a fantastic birthday dinner at The Holland. The service was great. The space is beautiful. The crab dip was the best I’ve had in a long time. My filet was cooked just right and absolutely delicious. I also loved the scalloped potatoes. I ordered the chicken sandwich (they subbed chicken for the burger) with fries. The fries were amazing, they tasted like malt vinegar. Thank you to the team for making my birthday dinner so special.

This was my second Wine Pairing event at The Holland. Chef Eric outdid himself! Food was absolutely fantastic and service was warm and friendly as usual. These wine pairing events are terrific and a great way to spend time with friends while learning about wines from around the world. I’ll be going back for the next one for sure!

Great comforting atmosphere!! Friendly staff especially Dana who made me “The Reclaimed Fashion” it was smooth and instant warmth in a cup! Our waiter Barrick was tremendous. His knowledge on the menu was very helpful! I didn’t get any pictures of the main food. Got a little greedy lol. The chefs did a fantastic job! I had the Arugula salad with the steak! Hats off to the chef!! The crème brulee was to die for!!!!

My mom and I always come to Mount Holly when she’s in town for the cute boutiques and atmosphere. We came here for lunch after shopping and we were not disappointed. The BLT was phenomenal and the Pawberry fizz was nice and light (granted I did switch the bourbon to vodka). Shout out to Spirit for fast, courteous, and overall great service at the bar! Overall, highly recommend this place for food, drinks, and overall vibe!

My husband and I finally had a much needed date night and we wanted to try The Holland! Our server, Ashley approached right away, offered guidance around the menu which was very appreciated, was very knowledgeable about everything we asked, and was so patient when I couldn’t decide. We shared the crab dip, which was so so good. We both got the ribeye and they were both cooked to absolute perfection. He’s very picky about his steak and said the ribeye here was better than normal date night spot, which is high praise coming from him. I’d pay a lot of money to know what they’re seasoning is because it was delicious. Ashley was wonderful the entire time. Our drinks were NEVER even close to being empty even though she was busy! I wouldn’t say I’m overly critical, but I was a server for a long long time, so I have a different perspective when it comes to how I judge another server. Ashley was probably one of the best we’ve had in a long time! The atmosphere was very nice and allowed us to enjoy some mom and dad time which is very rare for us! If you’re looking for an amazing and unique place to eat I highly recommend The Holland and be sure to request Ashley if she’s there!!!
