This was my second time eating at Jesse Kitchen and I walked in expecting a solid meal… but walked out genuinely impressed.

I initially came back for their tzatziki sauce best I’ve had, but noticed they’ve also introduced a Turkish menu since my last visit and it was such a delightful surprise. I had never tried Turkish cuisine before, and now I’m wondering where it’s been all my life. Every dish tasted intentional — rich, comforting, layered flavors without feeling heavy. You can tell whoever is creating these recipes really cares about balance and detail. Major praise to the person behind the kitchen right now.

It’s rare to go back to a place and find it better than you remembered, but that’s exactly what happened here. I came in familiar and left with a whole new favorite experience.

Highly recommend stepping outside your usual order and trying the Turkish offerings — they were the star of the night.

I dined at the hotel restaurant at 4 PM, seated outdoors. My order was taken at the front desk, but after waiting 30 minutes, I realized my order hadn’t been received. There was no service during the meal, and I had to bring my own water and high chairs. When I checked, I was asked for a 20% tip, which I ultimately didn’t pay, and the bartender was irritated. The food was decent, but the bartender’s her attitude was poor. I’ll tip for good service, but I absolutely don’t support asking for a tip after poor service. It is really weird!

Great food, super friendly service, beautiful courtyard, and some amazing hand crafted cocktails. I tried two of the bartender’s spontaneous creations and both drinks were delicious. Definitely looking forward to going back.

Really great spot in Reno for high end tacos and Mexican food. The ingredients are all great quality, the tortillas are amazing, soft and the salsas are delicious and well paired with the different types of taco. The Al pastor was delicious as was the beef brisket taco.

Great for a sunny day out on the patio, we rocked up at 5:30pm on a Friday and got a table without a reservation.

The food here is super delicious, especially the veggie tempura, hummus, and the meats. Everything was amazing. The cocktails are also really good. The place has a totally cozy vibe and the staff is incredibly friendly. Prices are also very reasonable. I hadn’t seen a spot like this in downtown Reno before. Anyone visiting Reno should definitely check it out.

The food was delicious. This was the most interesting Gyro I have ever had in a platter. I went here because of the review and recommendation for good Mexican food. But April 2025 the Estella’s had closed.

Best brunch, lunch or dinner! I pretty much only do my brunches here now as they aren’t the traditional eggs and bacon, but of a spicier, more eclectic nature filled with surprise and delight for your weekend mornings.

Beautiful patio in the summer, hanging vines, couches and the perfect amount of sunshine and shade. They also allow dogs and are super dog friendly, asking us if we wanted a water bowl for our pup!

I love taking friends here and splitting the bottle of champagne for mimosas (great deal), and I miss their whole trout dish they had last summer. Will be stopping in again soon!

Food was delicious! Tacos were wonderful and the salsa flight is definitely worth getting. Tried a few different tacos and the Al pastor was the fan favorite. Fun little gem on a stop through Reno.

This place has the best coffee bar in town, and this is not something I say lightly. From their choice of roast to their sweetener to the foam on top, every part of every drink is perfectly balanced.

The food is just as high quality. Their take on Huevos Rancheros is my new favorite way to eat it, their green salad is the most balanced flavor I’ve ever had with herbs, and they elevate the spice heat to a point of gentle physical involvement.

Everything on offer here is beautifully curated, and this place is a “must stop” for us whenever we’re downtown.
