A small but charming restaurant with excellent Green Chile. Great prices. We highly recommend this restaurant.Portion size are dinner portions. We met the owner very nice gentleman was wanting to know our opinion. Great hidden place across from Walmart.

CASH ONLY!!! I love it. It’s a small place, seats 85 people tops. Decor is eclectic. Bathroom was clean, and multi gender. Old but clean building. Friendly wait staff despite how busy it is. Salsa is HOT. It was hot just smelling it. The food came out quickly, was fresh and hot. Tasted amazing and was Boldly seasoned “spicy”. My husband finished his food, but I could not due to being full.Large portions. Everything on the menu was cheep. We will definitely come back. Owner was knowledgeable about local events and town which was helpful.

It was a big place of menudo with fresh onions,lemons , oregano and hot crush Chile’s the very best menudo I will recommend to everyone who is graving some good Mexican food .the service is very good clean place oh yessss they only take cash$$$$. Hours are always odd, but inside its a homey environment, the guy who owns this establishment takes great care of his customers, definitely makes your food to your likeing, if you want him to make a custom dish or even maje ut his way trust him you wont be let down. I got the combo plate #1 an all the food was amazing, meat melts in your mouth an lil spicey for sure hubby got a enchiladas plate an it was to die for. You gota go try this place!!!

I’ve been there once with my wife and it was decent. Kinda spicy but what do you expect on the hatch highway right? I tried calling three plus times today and someone answers and just lets the phone sit there in silence. Maybe they need to update their information but they may have just lost a customer. Too bad they are the only place that does pig feet

Food was tasty and prepared quickly. Menu offered a good variety for both breakfast and lunch. Owner served us and was very accommodating and helpful. Very reasonable pricing.

Had coffee and two very large breakfast burritos–bacon, and potato with cheese in place of egg. Owner told me to ask for what I wanted and he would prepare it.

UPDATE: Visited again with a friend. She sought to wash hands and owner had locked the only restroom! While dining, saw several people attempt to use restroom but it remained locked. Owner walked by and muttered he kept it locked because of kids coming in. Bizarre, to say the least. Won’t be back.

We stopped here while charging the car at the Walmart. The owner made us two delicious red chile burritos to go – he was a real nice guy, and threw in a cup of coffee for the road. Very delicious New Mexican food.

This place is fantastic! We were staying nearby the restaurant and decided to give it a try. The food was incredible and the prices are fair. I grew up in AZ and LOVE authentic southwestern Tex-Mex but can rarely find food that meets my expectations. They hit the mark! Our service for take out was also fast and friendly. Huge thumbs up!
