Wawa is clutch. Whether it’s late-night runs, quick breakfasts, or a coffee fix on the go, this place never disappoints. The food is surprisingly solid for a convenience store — the hoagies slap, the mac & cheese hits the spot, and the coffee is way better than most chains. Staff is usually quick and chill, even when it’s busy. The app makes ordering super easy, and you can be in and out fast. Clean bathrooms too, which matters more than people admit.
Overall, Wawa’s that dependable stop when you just need something good, fast, and affordable.

When you are from NJ, Wawa is a staple. Yes I drove 50 miles for a hoagie and coffee and it was so worth it! Their coffee drinks are amazing, their hoagies fresh and just delicious and you can get gas, food and beverages in one stop. I also recommend getting the app. You get rewards and can also order via the app and have it brought to you curbside. Amazing service, clean location and thank you for coming to NC! We like it also go visit the whirligig park nearby.

I usually love stopping at wawa during road trips but this wawa really disappointed me. We got quesadillas with no cheese, a pizza that is 40% crust, a caramel cheese cake smoothie with no cheesecake pieces and a cream smoothie that had ice chunks (i requested less ice).
The staff here are very nice, but every single thing in our order was wrong which really sucks.

This has to be the worst Wawa I’ve ever stepped into. I’m on the road almost every day of the week, and I would rather stop in a Wawa before stopping at any other place to get coffee and something to eat. Looking around the lot while I was getting fuel on Monday morning (12/29/25), every trashcan was overflowing to the point that the trash was blowing all over the lot. They looked like they had not been emptied for days. Of course I had to go inside to get my receipt. Once inside, I thought that I would place an order for food and a drink, but the touchscreens that I tried to use were not working and the staff were just standing around and were not interested in helping anybody. Now as much as I prefer to go to Wawa, and it’s great that they are expanding, but if they are not going to keep the place clean and take care of their customers, there are plenty of other places that would accept my money…I’m pretty sure about that. I’m sure I’ll be back to this location, and hopefully they will clean up their act, so to speak, and if so, I will update my review with positive feedback.

We stopped for coffee because we still had 5hrs to drive. Almost all of the coffee canisters were out and the one that did work didn’t fill my cup. We asked one of the employees a tall male if they were putting out new coffee and he just stared at us like we were stupid and didn’t answer nor try to help. Another employee went to grab the only other brewed coffee. We get to the cream and sugar station and most of the creamers were low or out. We get to the register and the female employee had to come from her chit chat with another employee to check us out. She had an attitude and dropped my coffee onto the counter hard. The atmosphere here sucks and only one employee one cooking the food was polite.

I’m not from Wilson but I was stopping by this WaWa location and at first I was stunned by how disorganized this place was. No one was at the register a line was backing up and people were waiting. Every other WaWa I’ve been to has been near about 5 star service very polite; they greet you, etc. Except here. I was waiting in line and so far nothing out of the ordinary as the cashier was checking people out, then it was my turn. I was purchasing a can of alcohol, so of course as expected I get my ID to show the cashier. She was very condescending acting towards me and talked (more like mumbled) to show my ID. She did not greet me prior to this keep in mind. I paid with card and every so often my card acts up with the pin number. The cashier as soon as she said its invalid pin grabbed the drink in the bag (on her side of the counter that I cant even reach anyway) and held it away from me like I am some crook or something. I am a younger gentleman and I am of the minority Asian demographic and I found this behavior absolutely pitiful and disgusting. I then tried my card again and it went through fine and she acted slightly nicer after that. Not sure why she had to be so disrespectful. I was so taken back by this that I had to write her up here. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name because in the heat of the moment you just miss the simple details. Not returning to this WaWa location. Not sure why there are people that push young people around like this, it’s happened before, but this is just another occurrence.
