Had such a great experience here. The atmosphere is awesome—quiet, cozy, and perfect for actually enjoying a meal without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and service you get. The staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely caring, which really made the whole visit feel special. You can tell they care about their customers. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others!

Enjoy the food, an the way they do the all you can eat is awesome. Order your food and they bring portions based on your request. No one’s touching an putting stuff back or coughing on the food. 10/10 have to recommend the green tea ice cream for dessert. Won’t be disappointed

The food was ok but compared to decent quality sushi, is nothing special. It could be fresher. The big redeeming factor is the amount of options they have. The waitress was very quick to bring the bill without asking if we were finished. Food takes some time to bring out but that’s to be expected.

Hanna Japanese Restaurant in Sarnia is a good spot to experience different types of Japanese cuisine. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, with a buffet option that provides unlimited food at fixed prices. This makes it a convenient choice for those looking to try a bit of everything.
However, it’s worth noting that most of the non-vegetarian options are raw, which might be challenging if you’re not a fan of raw meat. Despite this, the restaurant does a great job with the quality and presentation of the dishes.
The atmosphere at Hanna Japanese Restaurant is warm and inviting, with a cozy interior that makes you feel at home. The staff are friendly and attentive, always ready to help with recommendations or navigating the menu.
One of the highlights is the ample parking space, making it easy to find a spot without any hassle. The dining areas are spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable setting for your meal.
In summary, Hanna Japanese Restaurant in Sarnia is a decent place to explore Japanese cuisine dishes. The friendly staff, good parking facilities, and pleasant dining areas add to the overall experience.

Had not been here for a couple years. Came in for dinner looking forward to a nice meal with some delicious sushi.
To start it off, server not at all friendly. Sour face, dropped dishes on table when bringing food, with a thud. Time to pay, also not friendly. I regret being polite and leaving a tip.
Food quality and taste has definitely declined which is not good but I am most disappointed by the ignorant service.

Service has gone down. I made a reservation for a booth but the table for 3 before me got it without a reservation. I waited over 20 minutes for my bill. No one came. By this point it wasn’t that busy and it appeared that I had to call other waiters as ours seems to have disappeared. But even they seemed to ignore us. We made a drink order that never came. Eventually I went to the front to pay my bill. Wasn’t offered stamps. Very disappointed.

Wow have we missed this place! Seems they haven’t missed a step…might even be better now after being closed for so long. Service was fast and friendly, food came fast and was hot and fresh also and everything tasted amazing. Dining area coul use an update/makeover…

Really disappointing experience. Wanted to try out this restaurant & upon entering it looked nice. Once seated it was clearly not maintained & dirty. After being seated it took nwarly 15 mjnutes to get a menu. Once putting our orders in we received 3 items. One was still cold, the salad had chunky dressing, but the wonton soup was okay. Then a whole table came in with at least 6 or more people. They received all their food before we receive the rest of our items. Overall bad services, heated was pumping one minute & freezing the next. The server was nice though. . Ended up leaving due to how bad of an experience it was, Wont be returning.

This is my favourite place to come in Sarnia .. I usually come solo , but with friends it’s great aswell . I love having a booth; it’s cozy and shut off from everyone . They’re always polite and friendly . No complaints . Take out food is always huge portions !
I love that they never bother me . I sit cross legged and happily stuff my face with no judgements 🙂

food was good and we had a good time until the very end of our experience when we were getting ready to pay a very rude waitress came up to us to tell us we shouldn’t order so much food if we’re not eating and then was trying to get us to pay to take home our food that wasn’t able to be eaten ( 3 kabobs and some rice) saying it goes in garbage now if I don’t pay, I would completely understand if we were wasting large amount of food but that’s not who we are and I think 3 kabobs and some rice in reasonable to not finish and mind you this was already picked at and eaten from not just leaving a whole entree. My understanding was this is a buffet style establishment and didn’t appreciate being looked down upon and yelled at infront of other customers because we couldn’t finish 3 kabobs and some rice, this shouldn’t be operating as a buffet style resturuant if you cannot bear to lose the scraps that people can’t eat and then go on to yell at the customer about it. We won’t be returning unless this is looked into and handle properly.
