Authentic and really good Korean food in Hercules. Located in a plaza housing complex, there’s plenty of street parking and not too busy on a Sunday afternoon. Felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, they even have a tv where they play the football games with kpop music in the background. Their banchan was SO good and fresh!! They also replenish if you finish the first round. We had a part of 3 and I ordered the chicken dolsot bibimbap (hot stone), galbi, and seafood soondubu (tofu soup) with no spice. We devoured our soup and all all of our bibimbap and galbi. We also ordered galbi dinner takeout which is the galbi, a cup of rice, and huge portion of the banchan! It was soo good, they also serve beer and soju here, feels like you’re in Korea! Service was great, there was only one server and he was able to manage everything. Also a good place for takeout too!

So disappointed in the portion size of their FULL order of fried chicken. This cost $27. Not worth it. I drove to Krispy Krunchy chicken and got a 12pc order for $23 and they fried up a new batch for me and you can just look at the difference for yourselves.

The food is tasteful. Nothing was overly salty. The bulgogi was very flavorful. The Japchae noodles were a bit chewier than I’m used to. The wings were almost too heavy on the honey (or whatever sweetener they use). Overall, the flavor is there and satisfying.
Although it’s common that Korean food is on the expensive side, I’m always shocked to see the final bill for the number of entrees we get.

I was in the area, and decided to try Jumping Spoon. It is located on a corner lot. I went in during lunchtime during the week.

There was one person taking orders, and 7 or 8 people sitting inside with friends eating lunch.

They package all of their meals to go, however, if you want to eat in their dining room, you can.

Their BBQ Ribs come with rice, rice noodles, and wonton.I was surprised to see that a salad was included bean sprouts, fish cake, potato salad, broccoli, and marinated golden bell peppers. My ribs were not as hot as I would have liked, but their flavor was good.

Really good Korean food with large portions and great prices! It’s hard to find a Korean restaurant near our area but very happy with this place and I recommend everyone to give it a try.

Awful experience as we were told it is not fair to just place one order when we have three people (two adults and one kid). The staff was incredibly rude, insisting that we each order a separate dish even though our child barely eats a full meal. We tried to explain, but they were dismissive and unaccommodating. The atmosphere felt unwelcoming, a stark contrast to the warm memories we had from years ago. Sadly, this place has changed for the worse, and we won’t be coming back.
