Was looking for a place to eat while in town on a work trip and saw this place. Had five stars with quite a few reviews and was curious if it lived up to it.
I got the catfish basket, food came out pretty quickly. The staff was very nice, and the food was really good. Fries were fresh, hot and crispy and well seasoned and the catfish filet was huge and tasted great. I would definitely come back again.

A little weird to get into the place and place your order. You have to go to the entrance to a bar to get in. Then you ring a door bell on the converted shipping container to place your order. We sat in the covered patio area to eat. It was very very quiet for a Friday night at dinner time. But the burgers were out of this world!!! They were so flavorful and juicy!!! They onion rings and tator tots were perfection!!! We met the owner/cook while we were eating and let her know how much we truly enjoyed the food. Only downfall to me is that she is not open on the weekend other wise I think we may have eaten there each night we stayed in town!!!

The Salty Hefier grill lived up to their 5 star review! The heifer burger was loaded with delicious flavors such as green chili, bacon, onion rings and cheddar cheese. Their French fries are crispy, fresh and lightly seasoned which left us wanting more! Such a wonderful place to grab a bite. We also loved our server Tammy who was so welcoming and friendly.

We had Loco Moco on top of our choice of potatoes instead of rice. Super good quality burger patty and excellent gravy.
Also had a guacamole bacon burger in sour dough.

This is an enjoyable place to eat. It’s behind a little bar, you gotta look for it, but it’s worth finding, an delicious food. The service was amazing, very attentive, really cool. Absolutely loved.

Probably one of the best if not the best burger I have ever had… the cheese curds, raspberry chimi, and tater tots are a MUST! Had to go back and get more raspberry chimi’s because one was not enough. If you are in the area this is a must stop. Decided to go back 3 times in 5 days while in Safford because it was that good!

The hangry heifer and shrimp tots were fantastic. Place had a nice patio outdoors where you can dine. Order was quick too.

Absolutely delicious! Love the food here, plus the service and outdoor seating make it a fun place for a group. The “Hangry Heifer” burger is yummy-bacon, Pepper Jack cheese and onion ring. And the sweet potato fries on the side were phenomenal! The slow cooked pork on the sweet potato fries and spicy chick sandwich are also SO good.

I’ve never seen a place live up to a perfect 5-star rating, but these folks deserve it. We stopped by for a late lunch on a quick day trip to Safford. The only word for the juicy burgers and tasty sides is luscious. Service was friendly and prompt. The setting isn’t fancy, but it’s perfect for what it aims to be. Can’t wait for an excuse to go to Safford again!
