Food was delicious! The Pupusas are bigger than we expected, two would’ve been plenty for two people. Looking forward to going back!

We’re family of six. All our kids are under 9 years old. Every time we come here we get the 12 pack of pupusas an it’s enough for us. You also get a 2 liter soda with the order. In my opinion the price for it is not too bad

We decided to try a new place today and we landed on coming here! When first arriving, we thought we had to go around to the front to enter the place but when leaving we figured out you can enter through the back! You can enter through the doors where it says “Bombay grill” We decided to go with the Jarrito special which includes 3 pupusas and a jarrito drink. We were expecting small pupusas but we were totally caught off guard, they were huge! They were warm, cheesy and overall delicious. The customer service was also fantastic, the man up front was very kind and understanding when we couldn’t decide what to get. I recommend coming here. The place is hidden spot and has a homey feeling 🙂

This is a Salvadoran restaurant w wonderful Pupusas I always get the Revelta ones . ( pork beans and cheese inside). They also have good French fries. And a few homemade juices. They make this Horchata that is like No other I have ever tried . It tastes like cocoa, nutty and creamy this is the Salvador version better than Mexican Horchata hands down! They also sell some Salvador items like packaged cookies , chips , sauces, pops like their popular kolashampan

I don’t leave 1 star reviews often. But this place was a terrible experience. We went hear with a group of 5 and everything was going great until I went to take a bite of the chicken Papusa. It smell rancid and made me loose my appetite. I brought it to the staff and they smelled it and said they would not charge me for that 1 Papusa. If one protein is rancid what else is unclean?
I will not be coming back here.

We ordered 7 pupusas of a mix of cheese and revueltas To Go since it was close to closing. It took about 10min for all 7. Considering anywhere else I’ve had them takes a minimum of 15-20 for 3, that was the first sketchy part.
1. Food.
You can tell the food was previously frozen. Everything was crumbling into pieces (the only thing sort of holding them together was the cheese) and burnt when pulling them out of containers and it was cold by the time we got home (a 5min drive). The cabbage they gave us was just soggy cabbage, it had no real flavor associated with what you normally get with quality pupusas. We got no silverware which is odd considering it was to go.
2. Service
They only speak Spanish which is great if you know it. I was lucky to know enough to be able to properly order. Other reviews mentioned they take advantage of you if you dont speak Spanish so our circumstance was fortunate.
3. Atmosphere
No. Just, no. There was a bucket on one of the tables to catch drips from the ceiling where the rain was getting through. The entire floor was sticky, especially in the bathroom. Bathroom was sketchy and I’m not one to ick over public bathrooms. The place itself is super run down and all the decor was rundown with it. This isn’t really a cozy hole in the wall restaurant. This was a literal hole in the wall.
However, having worked in the restaurant industry and understanding what makes a good restaurant, their cleanliness standards are 0. Their food is far from quality, frozen, and the most expensive pupusas I’ve ever had. Their service may be geared towards Spanish speakers, but having at least one person there that speaks English would provide some kind of understanding that they care about a variety of people. Tbh, I’m surprised and glad we didn’t get sick. Having a front of house looking like that can only indicate the back of house is worse. At least try guys, come on.
0/10 would sadly never recommend to anybody. Costa Del Sol is still my top spot for pupusas in Ogden, we were just excited to try another place and were sorely disappointed.
