Great atmosphere. Food was really good. Great flavor burgers, hot, crispy fries and onion rings. My one criticism is the buns are too dry and crumbly, they fall apart and take away from the burger too much. But otherwise, loved the whole experience.

Totally delicious!! The burgers were very good and so were the sweet potato fries. Tthe cheese for our cheese fries needed…something, but they were still good. We had generous portions of very tasty ice cream, but my frappe was way too thin.
The interior is super cute. I love the red and white chairs. The jukebox is definitely too loud for normal conversation volumes, but it’s too quiet in there when it’s off. It was fun that it was loud enough that you could sing softly under your breath without being noticed
I’ll be back here many times, I can already tell! It had a nice homemade feel. I bet I end up going nearly every week I love a good burger and this is right in my neighborhood!

Retro burger is great!! Only giving it a three because service is always a little weird (every time we go our food always comes out a different times). But the burgers are really very good, frappes are excellent (Richardson’s), hot dogs are also really good too. Overall great little lunch or informal dinner place.

The service was completely unacceptable though. I think they’re struggling to find and retain decent staff both in the kitchen and front of house. We waited 45 minutes for literally a chicken sandwich and 3 hot dogs. Then got excuses rather than apologies from our server.
We’ve been there a few times now. Over it. There are better options in a food rich town like Arlington.

I really wanted to like this place because it is a local business with an interesting concept. On our first visit, I thought the food and atmosphere were pretty good. Unfortunately, our return trip was miserable. We ordered 3 burgers, and they took more than one hour. The buns were freezing cold as if they had just been taken out of the freezer. The jukebox was broken. The only consistently positive aspect was the shakes, which were delicious. There might be times when quality and service are very good, but I’d be wary if this place were busy.

Kids loved the chicken fingers and fries. I had the large american burger and it was great.

Love retro burger! I have been a customer since they were down the cape. I used to love hitting retro burger and then taking my son to the mini golf next door. When I heard they moved to my town I was ecstatic! Food is delicious, and the prices are fair.

This place is a counter service burger joint with a retro theme. When I walked in here, it looked pretty empty. We ordered our burgers from the confusing but actually fairly limited menu. The order service was friendly and prompt.
We then waited 35 minutes for our three burgers. There were signs about it not being fast food, but I thought that was a little extreme. I literally could have bought meat, ran home, cooked burgers, and ran them back faster.
The burger style was steamed, like a really thick McDonalds burger. That’s not my favorite burger style honestly, but i know there are aficionados and it was salty and greasy at least. The onion rings were standard and fine.
In short, I would come back here again, but only if I was lazy and desperate for a burger. And I would try to call my order in ahead.

Some of the finest burgers that I have ever had! Great atmosphere! The fries and ice cream is spectacular as well! Only complaint is that the waits for food are a bit long sometimes.
