Traveling. Not Lost!
This food here is freaking AWESOME! We went for lunch. I had the Texas Twinkie/ smoked Mac n Cheese with a side of coleslaw. Hubby had Fritto bowl (forgot the exact name) with brisket. The service was friendly and fast, with everyone working together to make sure customers were taken care of. The owner waited on us and later told me that their town, Globe, had been hit by a massive flash flood. They have been open got a year and have had to deal with their restaurant being flooded, rebuilt, and yet they are happy and grateful! I CAN’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH!!! We are moving on from this area in our travels, but I’m bringing dreams of Texas Twinkies with me!!!

My husband and I were just passing through town and looking for something to eat and chose this place on a whim. Walked in and the first thing I noticed was the smell of all the amazing food! I also noticed how clean the restaurant was which made me feel more comfortable. My husband also made a comment of the amazing smell when he walked past the kitchen on the way to the restroom, which was also spotless. Our waitress was so friendly and they accommodated my sandwhich to match my pregnancy cravings. I had the brisket and pulled pork. That brisket fell apart in my hands! when he heard how much I was enjoying my food he had a bite and also enjoyed it. He had the rib eye and I heard him enjoying his first bite too. I tried a bite of his, and that rib eye was SO JUICY with a flavor EXPLOSION!! He said that is the best rib eye he has ever had!!! He cleaned his plate and I am excited to eat my leftovers covered in their BBQ sauce! Highly recommend every day of the week and we plan to stop there again next time we pass through!

We originally heard about this restaurant off a video review on social media. We were so impressed that we drove 1 hour and 40 minutes to check it out. Let me tell you..it is worth it.
The dinosaur ribs are to die for. They were cooked perfectly, and the bone slid right out. The bread was nice and thick. The mac and cheese was good. I really enjoyed the beans.
I thought the venue itself was super cute. I loved the outside and paito seating.
I can’t say enough nice things. We will be back soon.

Hello hello. Well back at it again. So i have been working in globe Az behind Salina’s . We’ll been out here for 2 weeks so far and everyday gentleman from salinas would come out and tell us the time and ask to clear the parking lot for the customer . So today I finally decided I’m going to try what they have to offer so I got me a Frito pie and a cornbread casserole and I would have to say it was the most amazing delicious piece of Frito pie and casserole I have ever had in my life and if I have to say and recommend to you people if you’re ever driving down to 60 in Globe Az I would definitely make a stop at Selena’s smoke Street barbecue, and my nephew said the Texas Twinkies are anyways all I’m trying to say is it is really good barbecue and anybody that drives into Globe Arizona should make this stop

We planned torravel thru Globe and had seen good reviews for Salinas Smoke House. So we decided to stop and eat a late lunch. I had the smoked brisket my wife had the polled pork, both were excellent. With great friendly service. Highly recommend eating here.

We stopped for lunch on our way from Holbrook to Tucson. Service was quick and friendly, food was great, and it was a good spot to bring our kiddo as they had games to play and a simple kids menu.
We had rice bowl with tri-tip (the meat was smoky, tender and flavorful, and the pico provided brought all of the components of the bowl together deliciously), frito pie (with brisket – Smokey and cheesy, and particulalrly good with the pickled onions, jalapeños and cucumber brought on the side), and pulled pork sandwich (moist and tasty with their house sauce); boy had brisket slider with mac & cheese (he was happy).

Stopped here on our way back to Phoenix from Tonto National Monument. It was busy but there was plenty of seating still available and we didn’t have to wait. I had the brisket loaded baked potato and my wife had the Texas Twinkie on mac and cheese. The brisket was really delicious. It was tender Smokey goodness.
There’s seating inside and also a patio around back. Restrooms were clean which was a plus. Also, there is plenty of parking but it might be a little cramped if it’s busy. If we are ever in the area again we will be sure to stop by.

I am tired of the food here in Mesa and found this place, I told hubby “take me here”. An hour later….THANK YOU!! You can taste the smoke, the brisket was so good!! The frijoles and queso…YES!! So worth the drive!! If I could give 10 stars I would!! Hubby talked with David the owner as we left, super nice guy!! We smoke meats all the time and this is what we know and love! We will be back for sure!!

I had the pulled pork sandwich with slaw and cornbread. The pork was very moist. BBQ sauce was good. Slaw was ho-hum, but was good on the sandwich, along with pickled red onions. I would’ve preferred the cornbread was made with less sugar and more jalapeños. Service was very nice.

First time we have stopped, driven by so many times wondering . It was excellent. The service by the two ladies inside was wonderful.They helped us decide what to try. The pulled pork sandwich was piled high and the BBQ sauce was wonderful. The brisket was perfect. The spicy sauce was a little too spicy but the the regular BBQ sauce was perfect.Got everything to go after a long day at an event in Globe. Will stop again. Thanks for the great meal.
