Great Al pastor tacos, burritos my friend with ground beef and Asada loaded fries. Great portions full of flavor. Fresh cilantro and onion. Definitely will be back!

Burrito al pastor was full of flavor. Steak tacos were nice. Salsas are just right! mild spicy. Rice and beans remind me of home. Good prices too!

Flavor is spot on!

I got two lengua and two chorizo tacos. The lengua was soft, shredded, and ate like a pulled pork. Whatever it was slow cooked in really made its way into the meat and tasted delicious. I would recommend the lengua here to any first time beef tongue (lengua) taco adventures.

The chorizo was also delicious, but it ate like mashed potatoes. The meat was very finely ground with no browning. Still delicious but it doesn’t have much to provide in the texture department.

The order came with chips and salsa which was also very good. Salsa is your thin and runny salsa that is heavy on the herbs. Very cilantro and onion forward which is what I desire.

Salsa verde is heavy in the cremosa department. Very much on the mild side with a bias towards aguacate snd a hint of jalapeño. Very good, but I would venture for their habanero salsa if you want something spicy.

Cons:

Everything was just a little too wet and mushy. I live right down the street so it’s not like it sat in a steamy hot box for 15-30 minutes. Everything seemed like it could have been cooked longer, not that anything was under cooked, but everything just had too much moisture still. The tortillas were starting to fall apart as I ate them and could have used a few more seconds on the grill. The chorizo could have used more time on the grill to get some browning, heck the lengua could have used some more time on the grill. Everything just needed some light browning or charring and I would have thought this place is an absolute hidden gem as my first impression.

Regardless the food was delicious, warm, and convenient if you want something other than Tex-mex north of I-10 in the Gulfport area.

4/5 is my true rating but I’m leaving a 5/5 to recognize the two ladies running the place in a sweat shack all day.

We are used to California based taquerias so we are very picky. We have been here for years and have yet to find something authentic that beats home. Until we found this place!!! The food is fantastic and you can’t beat the price. Found our no. 1 favorite place for authentic Mexican food.

Being from south Florida and having a Colombian best friend… this place was amazing , feels home cooked , and the flautas were the best I’ve ever had… price was extremely fair due to the portions and sauces and all that you get. I don’t get how they can even profit. Highly recommend !!!

Tried this on 12-4 tried the tacos, burrito, papusas, flautas, and loaded fries. It has potential the favors are all right there. Biggest problem is he food being cold. Papusas and flautas were warm. But everything else was cold. Rice and beans sides tasted fresh out of the fridge. Great potential great flavors just have to get thw food warm.

Bought 2 burritos and they were huge! California and Morritas burrito were both delicious. The sauce that came with them, also great.

$12.99 Street tacos- Comes with 3 x tacos rice and beans. I got 2 x chicken and 1 x al pastor. These were really good and especially with the salsa verde! Rice and beans didn’t look appetizing, but I was so pleasantly surprised! Usually I order my cilantro and onion tacos al a carte because i can forgo the rice and beans… i will gladly eat these again. Put the beans on the rice and add the red salsa and it was so good! The rice was a little salty but it was very flavorful. I had to add salt to the street tacos, but I always do on my street tacos. It came with some grilled onions and a half of a grilled jalapeño, which the onions were great on the street tacos as well and of course I squeezed my limes on the tacos too. I ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner. I also got chips and cheese. The cheese was okay, but not quite the cheese dip flavor I traditionally like. I also tried just a side of fried yucca not with the chiccaron. I think the cuts of the yucca made it hold too much grease, which may have been better with the chicarron meal as advertised. I’m excited to go back and eventually try the mulitas, birria tacos, and pupusas. I would definitely order/recommend the street taco plate again and I’ll take pictures next time! Because I wanted to try the cheese dip and fried yucca, cost was $20-30 after tip. But I had lunch, dinner, and still have the extra sides in the fridge.
