This place was amazing! Food was excellent and view was beautiful! My husband had the Big Kalua burger which included beef patty, kalua pork, Portuguese sausage, cheese, pineapple, and skewered with 3 shrimp! He said it was fabulous! I ordered the fish tacos and they were the best one’s I’ve ever had. My husband also gave me his shrimp and I could have eaten a whole plate of them. Will definitely be back during next visit.

We came here for drinks and to listen to the house band, who also happen to be the owners. They are lovely, welcoming hosts. They play fun, well-chosen songs from the 60s and 70s, and they sound great. Super entertaining, and just a fun way to spend the evening. This place has a nice water view, right in the middle of downtown Kona. We may try it for breakfast or lunch in the future. But the band is really a draw for us. We didn’t order food, but our drinks were very tasty.

This is an amazing spot with beautiful ocean views. Our drinks were delicious! The place would be a lot of fun with a live band. Wait staff was very friendly. Tots were also delicious! My fish tacos were over seasoned and not appetizing. My wife’s smash burger was tough and dry. The wait for food was quite long and the place wasn’t that crowded. The bill was over $100 for two tacos a burger and two drinks plus tip.

Did not disappoint.
It’s upstairs overlooking the bay, 18 steps up.
“18 Steps to Happiness” Give me some credit.
The food was great, loved the Spam Loco Moco.
My kid had the pancakes they’re huge!!! (Not kids meal) and delicious.
The Kalua pork and burgers were very good as well.
The fresh breeze from the ocean and the scenery made it and even better experience.
We had breakfast there twice,
The staff was friendly and very helpful.

This place is amazing. Family ran. Wife and I came in 10 minutes before open looking for a comfortable place to sit while waiting on our flight and the owner, without missing a beat, showed us to comfy lounge seating. I told him we will order drinks in return and was told not to worry about it, we are good, and he’s happy to have us. Hands down one of the most considerate restaurant owners I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.

One of my favorite spots on Alii drive. The family that runs the place did an amazing job with the remodel. Great ambiance. And they do a great job on the food. And the band is really talented. Little expensive but that’s Kona for you.
