Went here to watch the superbowl final and Yak-A-Doo did not disappoint. A great atmosphere with free tacos and BBQ wings to spice up the game and the awesome service kept the cold beers coming. Lots of fun, had a great time.

Seems like a fun bar. Good karaoke singers last night. Bartender was very nice, pretty and could sing like an angel. Only had a club sandwich and it was pretty good…very fresh. Just a stopover for us on our way to the Outer Banks.

Bartender had a Disrespectful attitude and Horrible manners! She was very rude for someone in the food service. Couldn’t get our order right even after taking it twice then became angry at us because she was bring food to the wrong person. I get being busy but if you can’t handle rush on a Friday night then stick to days during the week. I have gone here for years but will no longer be returning! That is that absolute worst service and experience of my life and wont be going back for seconds.

Very poor service. Worst customer service. Waitress was very rude to everyone I had come to restaurant. They opened at 3 and I brought about 20 people to their restaurant to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday party. My friends ordered a couple of bottled beers that they had a paper on the table and a sign on the wall that they were only $2.50 that they were on special but they charged full price and refused to honor their advertised price. Had I not come in they would have only had 7 customers from the time I came in to the time I left at 6pm.

Went there last Saturday, Place was packed and band was good. If you dont smoke, better stay away from here. Small place for number of tables and since it was packed, what chimney central. Waitress was nice, but way over worked so as the night when on, service became so slow we had to go to the bar to get our drinks. Small dance floor and band had there stuff on it which made it very arkward to try and dance around the sound equipment. Jury is up on going back, will look at other venues first.

The restaurant and kitchen was apparently understaffed. Hostess handed us the menus and said to seat ourselves. There were only 3 other couples seated already, and at least half of the rest of the tables in there had not even been cleared off yet from the previous patrons. Dirty dishes everywhere. Kitchen took a very long time to get simple food out. Waitress was apologetic for the cook being slow but it seemed everyone was getting that same apology. If they can’t handle 4 tables then maybe they should close the doors. Their bar next door looked busy but it was loud with a band so not a good environment to eat either.

It’s currently closed and under renovation. The hotel staff said that they expect it to open in May under a new name. I won’t be going. The current owners really don’t seem to care much for the local community. They own the clarion hotel that this restaurant is attached to and refuse to rent a room to anyone within a 35 mile radius. In fact, they don’t care if your house burned to the ground. If you live ten miles away, they won’t rent to you.

Horrible treatment to the biker community!! Been coming here for years for rolling thunder. Never once was I harassed about a sleeveless t-shirt or a headwrap. Today we were told we couldn’t be served!! Absolutely ridiculous!! It’s 92 degrees, we’re hot and just wanted a cold drink. We were literally the only people in the room!! The Hardtimes Cafe doesn’t have a problem serving the sleeveless… Go there!!!

Great looking place, but lacks customer service!!! I sat in the side tables only because the bar was full and the rest of the table were empty. 13 min later I left. Not even one individual approach me from the staff. I guess a cigarette is more important these days.
