I have previously written a review, but wanted to highlight a Thursday winter special. We made reservations last Thursday for a high top table and decided to partake in the all you can eat spaghetti and $5 glass of wine. Best spaghetti I have ever eaten. I love the service here and always enjoy the views. If you have not been here, please make sure you add this one to your list. You’ll thank me later.

Good Italian food with lake views. We got a table inside, and were able to see the lake through the window. The outdoor patio facing the lake looked more fun! The food was predictable which is good, very saucy with good portion size.

Great food for the area and ambience on the lake was wonderful!
Dined on the patio. We saw some reviews of the patio being cramped, but we never got bumped once by staff and could hear eachother fine.
Service was wonderful and everything came out quick. We had the Malbec, bruschetta, Cesar salad, Muscles/Clams pasta, Pomodora pasta, and chocolate cake & tiramisu for dessert.
We also had dined at the “top” fine dining restaurant in the area the night before, and this far surpassed that one.

Finally tried this place and thankfully after the renovations.
First of all, it’s expensive and some entrees are kind of small.
Overall food tasted good, shrimp with pasta was very good, but the steak was ok. The bread they bring out before the food is very good.
You pay for the view, if you sit outside make sure to face toward the lake otherwise it’s a waste of an experience.
Drive by traffic can be noisy but not too bad. The place decorated and designed pretty nicely.
If you never been here before, I recommend trying it out.

Excellent local Italian restaurant adjacent to Lake Coeur d’Alene. Highly recommend!

The veal saltimbocca was on the sweeter side… more like a marsala sauce, which is why I gave a 4 star on food. Loved the calamari and tiramisu! The shrimp pasta and Caesar salad were great as well. Beautiful view of Lake Coeurd’alene and the service was very good. Wish there was a way they could slow down the traffic in front of the restaurant.

Went for the first time. Place was clean and very busy. Make reservations if you go. Food was really good. It’s worth trying this place. Great view of the lake and sunset. My plate was the gnocchi and its was a perfect amount and delicious .
Cons- very loud. Hard to hear conversations within your own table and tables are super close together.

Loved the food and the atmosphere! It was great to finally get to eat here after a couple years of driving by it. There are several vegetarian and at least one vegan option. The dill cream dressing on the garden salad was amazing! They serve artisan bread with every meal butter is great. Fresh made gnocchi was great as well. Loved the butternut squash tortellini. The lemoncello cheesecake was great except the gram cracker crust could have been better.

Food price / quality (value) rating 9.5. The atmosphere is contemporary Italian. This restaurant is 50 feet from Lake Couer d’Alene, and has wonderful expansive views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Although the restaurant has been at this location for eighty years, it has undergone changes in ownership a few times, and was recently totally remodeled / rebuilt to reflect the higher standards of modern high end Italian dining. The menu is succinct, but includes the most classic and loved Italian dishes that you’d expect. Our server,Thomas, was experienced and attentive. A fresh sourdough bread was served before dinner. I had the Halibut, which was prepared properly, and presented beautifully. It included a flavorful parmesan risotto, and seasonal vegetables. Excellent! The wife had the Vegetable Risotto, and ate every bit of it. They offer a limited, but well chosen, draught beer selection, including some local microbrews. We both ordered dessert (highly unusual for my wife) because they were house made. She had the Cherry Creme Brulee (very unique), and I had the Tiramisu, which is typically very generic, but theirs is made individually in separate goblets, and the ladyfingers are not totally whipped, adding texture to the dessert. The place was packed by 6 pm on a Wednesday, a very good sign, and more than one local resident highly recommended it to us. The prices were very reasonable for the quality. We felt a little bit rushed at the end of our meal, but, being a seasonal restaurant, I understand that turning over tables is important . Coeur d’Alene is a wonderful tourist town, undergoing a continuing dramatic renaissance including many new modern buildings and businesses. It has a very walkable downtown with many attractions such as art galleries, restaurants, and street fairs. There are also many lake related activities, and you’ll want to spend more than one day here.

We were celebration our anniversary and they were excellent. My husband loved the half chicken. I loved the chicken without cheese. We were full, so they sent us home with a small piece of carrot cake.
