I usually go just to the actual store part to buy drinks etc But finally my fiance decided we should give it a shot. The burgers were huge and very tasty. But we had ordered Mac and cheese with the 6 burgers and extra fries just in case. However we got a call saying no Mac and cheese and when u said we’ll maybe something else they quickly said that fries were the only option. So we got a tone too many fries. Other than that disappointment the fries and burgers were more than good

I usually just go in here to purchase drinks and/or my usual tobacco products. I’ve paid mind to the fact that they also sell hot food, but never felt inclined to try it out until today. Let me just say, I’m happy I did.
The guy working the counter has always been very friendly, and he helped me decide what to get!
The chicken was hot, and the fries were fresh. Definitely a hole in the wall kind of place, but the food did not disappoint one bit.
I’ll be coming back more than once a week now!

First time to order from this place and I got fried cod fish and cajun fries. The fish was fried well, soft from the inside but abit oily. The fries were just the normal ones. There was no sauce or even ketchup offered with the meal simply fried fish and fries. Overall, 3 stars is enough for this place. The order came on time.

First of all the place is located in the food market. There was only one person doing everything (taking orders,cooking,and bagging food) Dinner rush so most orders was about a twenty to thirty minute wait.

I went here because I had a taste for fish so I got a catfish nugget meal and a 6 piece wing to split with my husband. First of all, I can’t attach a picture of my fish because it was gone before we got home. Second, I had to go back in the store and dap these men up for serving me the best fried fish and chicken that I’ve had in Lansing!! The guys running this place are so very friendly. Everything was made hot and fresh. Even the fries were seasoned to perfection! This place will definitely be in rotation for me.

Had a pickup order, the place had no sign out front it was in a liquor store next to a condemned building. The guy did not have my order even started, and stated he didn’t have most of the sides we ordered. I waited an extra 20+ minutes for a meal that was at least edible, but so not worth the price. Disappointing to say the least. Also didn’t look that clean inside.

Sadly, my first experience with FLC, was at their food truck at the downtown fireworks. Not sure if they were overwhelmed by being the only hot food selection or running out of food early, but it was a 45 minute wait to order with only 10 people ahead of me, then waited an additional 45 minutes for the food. Potato salad was warm, all other food was fresh and hot. Collard greens were very good and tasty. But that wait just was atrocious. Other customers said they had waited a total up to 2 hours. Cannot recommend.
