A true hidden gem in Stockport, the food and service was bang on! We ordered the seek and lamb chops, prawn puri and they were delicious. Lamb chop were juicy and the seek kebab was cooked in the clay oven. You can taste the charcoal on it. For the mains we ordered the Savaana special Biryane and chicken afgaan. Both bursting with flavour and generous portions too! My favourite has to be the the tandoori mix grill, it’s a must. Pictures don’t justify the tandoori chicken, it has to be one of the best ones in greater Manchester. The mock tails were nice and refreshing. The service was brilliant from start to finish, the staff were very friendly.

Savaana was booked up so recommended booking in advance but they kindly made space for us and we weren’t disappointed. We took our own drinks and got the set banquet and there was so much food that was cooked to perfection. The chutney tray was plentiful with a variety of sauces – red spicy one is lush. Followed by a mixed starter the seek kebab – . Then we got lamb pathia, beef samber, vegetable rice, peshwari naan and an extra side of aloo chana baji. All were cooked to perfection with the right amount of spice, a variety of fresh vegetables and the peshwari naan was next level n not too sweet but coconutty lol. Special thanks to Ihan too for the pistachio ice cream and the rest of the team who were really hospitable, kind and polite. This is a welcome bonus to Edgeley and lovely decor inside plus plenty free parking all lit up – all the best for the future xx
We visited again on a very busy Saturday 13th September night and a table of 6. The food was delicious, my Mum whose 72nd birthday it was said it’s the best food she’s had. We had 4 mixed starters, one garlic prawn, one tandoori prawn, fish pakora. Popadoms to start. Then a mixed kebab, mixed korma, mixed tikka masala, mixed grill, tandoori chicken and lamb pathia, 2 chips, 2 pilau rice, 2 veg rice, peshwari naan and garlic naan. Defo ordered too much and took loads home. Staff work really hard and was good. Lamb samosa on mixed starters were lush x

Great new restaurant ,fresh and tasty . The waiting team were great too. Felt bad not leaving a tip as we realised we had no cash. Will definitely return and double tip! Highly recommended.

Well what a night , we spent 3 hours at the restaurant in all. I really had a great time . We were seated in a small section of the restaurant that was more private . Our waiter was friendly, patient and humorous as we had all been drinking to celebrate . We placed our orders, we had starters and mains with sundries aswell . There were no errors , food was very, very good, and great service all evening.I asked everyone in my party what they thought and we all said the same . Everyone was happy. You get great portions and food is top level. I think it is very good value for money. To end our evening the waiters sang happy birthday and brought my suprise cake out which was lovely. They also looked after the left over alcohol and party decorations until i could come back and collect them the next day . I live local to the restaurant so this will be my go to restaurant now 100 % for this cuisine. Infact i have booked for Christmas Eve for myself and my two teenagers.

I stayed at the Wycliffe for two nights, eating at Savanaa each night. I cannot rate the staff, service and food quality highly enough. The chef prepared a magnificent meal each night, supported by courteous and highly professional staff serving the meal. The meals were tasty, filling – there was ample for a big eater – and of a high quality. If you get the chance book a table and enjoy a relaxed, lovely evening out.

Was good when it first opened but had a couple of takeaways recently via Uber Eats that have been extremely late.
Delays happen, but not acceptable when calling up for updates and being lied too, seeing Uber drivers turning up to collect only for them to be turned away because the order wasn’t ready.

Been a few times its nice inside plenty of seating but you are best booking can do it on line.The service is good the waiters are friendly even asked if we wanted a break between courses.No licence so take your own drinks but no cans allowed.Food was nice all left clean plates.They do doggy bags don’t be afraid to ask they provide a foil tray and brown paper bag to carry it home for your breakfast.
They also do delivery and collection and you get 20% off if you collect it yourself.
Good car park holds about 30 cars.

Brilliant restaurant! celebrated my birthday here with 10 family members and friends. The food was delicious and the service was really fast. The waiters were attentive, and very funny.. they simply couldn’t do enough for you. I would 100% recommend and will definitely be back.

Had a curry with my girlfriend and her sister and husband lovely curry all round couldn’t fault it . Great service and friendly staff. You can take your own alcohol in which saves you a few quid . Will definitely be back here again soon .!
