I spent almost $8 for this drink, and what I got was basically a cup full of ice. Look at the cup — there’s barely any drink inside! Not sure what to say, but this feels like a scam. You guys decide who’s wrong, because this really doesn’t seem right.

Everyone so friendly, and very professional service. Even sometimes they’re busy but I ask for water for my daughter, they’re still smile and gave to me . Thank you . That very important for all the costumes. So please don’t change even sometimes costumer don’t need to buy food/ drinks. Costumes always go first, does matter what .

I come here almost every morning. And it’s usually fine talking to the employees. They are super nice. But the guy who is the manager is so rude. He made my drink today and proceeded to correct me about what I ordered. I ordered a hot drink which was $5 and he gave me a Frappuccino which is usually like $8 or $9. He told me I was basically wrong about what I ordered, but that app Doesn’t lie. Him sighing and huffing and puffing made me just take my drink and go. Maybe they need a new manger who knows how to make drinks the correct way and is nice.

This is what I got after ordering no ice. The drink was barely halfway full. I understand no ice changes things, but this feels unreasonable and not worth the cost.

I ordered a three drinks drinks came out at separate times they took very long to make them as I was waiting in line. I asked them for two extra waters and they told me they couldn’t do that that I would have to stand back in line and order it through the cashier as they were making my drinks. They had their looks on their face like they were not happy at all come on people we pay good money to drink Starbucks at the mall and then to have women like you stand behind a cashier and make your ugly faces is not something that we expect as we are getting our coffees. It was so sad because it was the first time that my cousin was in a mall coming from out of town and I’ve told her how people are just so nice hope so beautiful here and the customer service is amazing. We had just gone to a Thai restaurant where they were absolutely amazing. Then we come over here across the street to Starbucks and every woman in this place had an ugly look on their face as they were attending people seriously need to get some cashiering skills skills or at least customer service skills. Definitely you’re in the wrong place to be working at. I felt so frustrating.

Dear Starbucks Management,

I need to express my utter frustration with my recent visit to your store. It’s shocking to me that a company like Starbucks, known for its customer service and community focus, would treat a weary parent so poorly.
When I walked in, all I needed was a simple cup of warm water to prepare a bottle for my baby. After going to several other stores that were unable to provide this basic necessity, I thought I could rely on Starbucks—where I once worked for four years and still genuinely love. But instead, I was met with resistance and a ridiculous demand that I make a purchase first.
How is it acceptable for a barista to question a parent asking for something as simple as warm water for an infant? After already exhausting my patience, I asked again and was met with the same insistence that I had to buy something. I was taken aback. Do you understand the level of exhaustion and stress that comes with being a new parent? I was finally able to step out of the house to interact with others, and instead of a warm welcome, I was met with cold-heartedness.
Your company makes billions; surely, you can spare a cup of warm water for a tired mom trying to care for her baby. After what felt like an eternity of waiting, your barista reluctantly handed me the water, but not before making me feel like I was some sort of inconvenience. This is not the nurturing environment Starbucks claims to promote.
I left feeling disgusted and deeply disappointed. The Starbucks mission is to inspire and nurture the human spirit—yet I left feeling more disheartened than ever. Please reconsider how you train your staff to treat customers, especially those in vulnerable situations.
I hope this message reaches the right people because no parent should ever have to experience such a lack of empathy at one of your establishments.

I visited the Southcenter Starbucks yesterday with my husband and a friend visiting from Canada. We ordered three drinks and waited over 20 minutes after paying. When we got only two, my husband asked about the missing drink, and the staff just said she didn’t know at first. I then asked a female barista with glasses, and she told me the drink would take another 30 minutes or more, which means I have to wait 60 mins for 3 drinks? and she said if I didn’t want to wait, I could go line up again for a refund. She said this without any apology or empathy, which was very disappointing.

I think I was lucky, because a male staff member later apologized and made the drink right away, which I appreciated. But afterward, I checked Google Reviews and saw that another customer had posted a photo of the same female employee and mentioned a similar issue half a year ago. That means nothing has improved in all this time, especially with the same staff member.

I really hope the management pays attention to this problem and improves customer service at this store.

We went here on Black Friday, but surprisingly it was fast and efficient with ample number of staff to accommodate large customer volume. The service was great and my order came out correct.

This little spot in South Center Mall is nice. Stopped in to get some drinks for family arriving from out of town. It was busy but got my drinks as ordered. Got lost trying to find my way out of the mall but all is good!
