Small charming subway in a small town, food was really good, bread was toasted a little too hard for my liking even though they only did one toasting cycle for my sandwich, people were friendly in there as well! But their toaster probably needs updating because my bread came out super hard and not my preference.

The guy helping me barely acknowledged me and seemed like he’d rather be anywhere else. They don’t have the $6.99 combo of the day either. My wheat bread was completely stale and after I asked if they had other bread he said it was fresh that morning. The sub was tiny, less than 5 inches. No thank you from the gal that checked me out either. Not worth the $14 for the meal mTried sending a note wviut through their subway app and that’s worthless as well.

Subway pricing has gotten unmanageable. The quality has degraded so low that you are getting mostly bread with very little ingredients. Doubtful I’ll ever return to this location. I could not find the meat. Sliced so thin you can see thru it. That is if you can find it.

All the garbage cans are overflowing so flies were everywhere. The pot machines had fruit flies flying all around them young staff didn’t make my sandwich correctly after asking multiple times to do it a certain way I wanted it and then charge me for three meals instead of one they were able to fix that part, but they weren’t sure how to do it and there was no higher up employees there to help them so they had to call the boss.It was more of an annoyance, but the fact that there were dirty empty cups left out on tables and the fly situation was disgusting.

I rarely do reviews. But I stood at the counter for over 5 minutes, one older lady finally helped me. While two younger girls stood in the back talking. I bought 4 sandwiches to take to the jobsite. By the time I finally walked out there was a line of people all the way to the doors. The youngest girls still talking in the back. Really bad service. All of the sandwiches seemed to have hard old bread which was very disappointing. But Lastly, I bought a box of cookies and they were all hard! The one thing I looked most forward too, subways soft chewy cookies. Safe to say I wouldn’t go to this subway again unless I had to!

I walked in, ordered three sandwiches and a no bready bowl( which no one knew what that was). There was no one in front of me; I noticed that there were two younger kids in the back talking and one person doing all the work alone. Two of the sandwiches breads were rock hard and cookies were extremely hard too. Need to work on the employees and food quality.

Bad service, dirty and unsanitary establishment. I had to ask the worker to wash her hands before serving me due to her repeatedly touching her visibly dirty/unkept hair. Plainview Subway has only gotten worse since new management

I visited this location several months ago, and it was so dirty I wasn’t even sure I wanted to eat my sandwich. Food all over the floor, mayo smeared all over the counter where you pay, the workers were unkept and clothes covered in pet hair. It wasn’t great. That was my first negative experience there. I tried again a couple weeks ago, and when I walked in at 9pm. They told me they were out of bread, so I left. I tried again the following week, and when I walked in at 730om they told me they were out of meat, so I left. I guess I’m done trying to eat here. It needs a serious change in ownership/management. Woof, Plainview Subway. Do better. You’re one of the only places to eat in this small town. You could be making a killing in sales, but you consistently operate below average. I’ll drive to St. Charles. Can’t be worse.

The quality has declined dramatically in the last 6 months or so. I always get a veggie sub with extra veggies. The last few times I’ve ordered there have hardly been the standard amount on there; let alone extra. Then the last time I ordered for my family, the sandwiches were all a sloppy mess. My partner wasn’t even sure how to go about eating their sandwich. It was BAD. And then they suggest tipping….I’ve tried seeing if that makes any difference in my online orders. It does not. Some of the worst sandwiches I’ve gotten are when I did tip. I’ve been hearing about similar experiences from other customers. My suggestion is to check out the bowling alley or Fresh Wok instead.
