I’ve been traveling into the area for the past three weeks, and during that time I’ve ordered the Steak and Shrimp from Mr. Hibachi every single week, and for good reason. The food is absolutely delicious and incredibly well-made every time. The steak is cooked perfectly, the shrimp is flavorful and fresh, and everything is seasoned just right. You can truly taste the quality and care that goes into each meal.
What makes the experience even better are the two employees who run the place. They are unbelievably kind and welcoming. Not only did they remember my order each time I came in, but they even wished me a happy birthday, which really meant a lot while I was away from home. That kind of personal touch is rare these days.
For the quality and portion size you receive, the food is prepared in a timely manner and offered at a great price. I’ve traveled all around the world and have eaten at countless restaurants, and I can honestly say this is by far the best hibachi spot I’ve been to.
If you’re anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and give Mr. Hibachi a try. You won’t regret it.

My new favorite Hibachi place in Columbus. I have visited Mr. Hibachi twice in the last two weeks and it has been amazing both times. They really put a lot of preparation and effort in their dishes. Unlike some other Hibachi places Mr. Hibachi’s food is packed with flavor. Additionally the portions are huge and prices are very affordable. I was quite surprised to see lobster tails on the menu. Topped with my favorite egg yolk sauce makes a wonderful meal! The employees are really helpful and polite. I truly felt welcomed and that is somewhat rare in today’s standards.
I would rate this restaurant five stars, however the interior is very underwhelming. The tables and chairs are very cheap and there is extremely limited seating available. I hope once the location starts thriving they are able to update the seating arrangements to better accommodate patrons.

Very good! I love how kind they are, they always put all their love into the food. The food is delicious, especially the steak and is never too hot or too cold. It’s a quiet place that deserves so much more. They are truly amazing people

First time here wonderful service fast friendly service I must say! Menu pricing was very reasonable and affordable for what you got the food we got was very large in size alot of steak chicken now you do have to pay extra for vegetables here besides the cabbage that comes with it my only gripe crab rangoon wasn’t the best and the rice wasn’t like cooked on a wok first time trying the egg sauce on mine it’s very rich tasting but other than that I highly recommend this restaurant establishment you get your money’s worth I definitely come back try other stuff.

I read a couple Facebook comments saying how good this place was, so the wife and I decided to give it a try. We did take out, so I can only comment on the ordering and food. Front service was friendly; but the food was only so-so. It’s not that we didn’t like it, but I can’t see this place competing with Genjigo, except that it’s the only hibachi on this side of town. The fried rice seemed to only be brown rice kept in a steamer, and the overall flavor of the chicken, steak and vegetables were decent but not outstanding. You expect higher wishes from a newly opened place. Even though this was only my first visit, I’ll probably give it another chance later.

Definitely our go to spot for hibachi in the Grove City area! Owner and staff are very sweet and kind. The portion sizes are huge! I always have so much leftovers. Definitely recommend!

I order medium rare steak; extra rice; broccoli and mushrooms and bean sprouts. Paid extra for it all and got nothing but three pieces of broccoli, undercooked bean sprouts and overcooked steak. I also waited 45 minutes when I was told 25. Paid 17 bucks for this trash: DONT GO THERE I’ve had the same experience twice now, they must be going out of business.

We decided to give this place a try since it’s new to the area. We arrived around 815-820pm, and there were six parties waiting on food. 830 they turned off the sign and said they are closing (regular closing time is 9) because they ran out of food. Each veggie you want to add, you pay extra. They line up so many orders at a time while waiting on the food, and add it as it’s done, so by the time you get your food, it’s not even hot. Okay, to the food. We got fried rice which is basically white rice and extra light soy sauce, no eggs, no green onions or anything extra. It was hard, probably due to rushing. Each meal came with some king of cabbage? We didn’t order it. The ginger sauce is light and runny. My husband said the yum-yum was okay but our daughter didn’t like it. The best part was the egg yolk sauce. Husband said the steak wasn’t good, tasted rushed, and dry. I got shrimp, it was good. The chicken was nothing special. Spring rolls didn’t really have a taste. I know this is a ‘fast take-out’ hibachi, but we’ll stick to House of Japan. I think this about sums it up! I hope this helps a little.
