My husband and I have been here several times and can truly say it’s one of our happy places. We often bring guests to the area and they always have a meal they won’t soon forget!

You will never have a bad experience here – from a food, beverage or service standpoint.

We love the social nature of eating at the bar when we don’t have a reservation and Janey is a masterful bartender who will make adjustments to her beautiful creations for your preferences which shows she is truly about the joy of the customer experience.

I can’t say enough about Chloe and her hospitality and clear leadership in the vibe that is the absolute opposite of anything you will see in ‘The Bear’ drama series.

The food … I mean the food. Is. Everything. Wes is something special. It’s hard for me to not order the Ramen, or potato soup. The Bass dish, pasta and every other creative exploration on the menu is a delight for your taste buds. From flavor to texture you wish you could recreate it at home, but that’s impossible.

Come for the food and stay for the hospitality. You won’t regret this absolute gem at it truly represents the heart of southern Vermont.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Truly Magical Dining Experience at SoLo Farm & Table

From the moment we arrived at SoLo Farm & Table, we felt completely welcomed. The evening started with the restaurant’s friendly outdoor greeter — Cupcake the cat, who met us at the entrance with the sweetest meows . That alone set the tone for what would become one of the warmest dining experiences I’ve ever had.

The setting is so unique — a cozy farmhouse that immediately feels like home. Inside, you’re greeted by Chloe, who radiates warmth and hospitality. It truly felt like being welcomed into a friend’s home for dinner.

Our table was set in a beautifully intimate dining area, and our server, Cynthia, was absolutely incredible. Her knowledge and passion for the food shined through with every dish she described. You could tell how much she believes in what the chef creates — her excitement was contagious!

And then… the food. Wow, wow, wow. Chef Wesley is an artist. Every plate carried not just flavor, but emotion. We started with the Smoked Halibut Belly Tartine, and my goodness — the flavors were perfectly balanced. The toasted sourdough was the ideal touch, and each bite melted together in harmony.

The Seared Labelle Farm Duck Breast was my favorite dish of the night — tender, flavorful, and elevated by that incredible house plum sauce. It’s one of those dishes that just stops you mid-conversation because you’re too busy savoring it. I honestly wanted to hug the chef!

We enjoyed six dishes between three adults and finished with two desserts that were the perfect ending — not too sweet, just beautifully crafted. The crustless cheesecake was heavenly, and the apple turnover kept delivering layers of flavor that made us smile with every bite.

We left SoLo Farm & Table feeling full — not just from the food, but from the love and care that goes into everything they do. This is more than a restaurant; it’s an experience.

Thank you, Chloe, Wes, Cynthia, and the rest of the team (including Cupcake ) for making this such a memorable night. We can’t wait to return when you reopen on December 12th. This is truly a hidden gem in Manchester, Vermont — and it deserves to be on everyone’s must-visit list. ✨

We made a reservation here on a whim for my girlfriend’s birthday as we were staying in Londonderry for the week, and we were absolutely thrilled to have found such a gem. The location, staff, and menu are true examples of excellence without pretention. It is clear that there is careful attention to every detail the patron partakes in, the staff were so lovely and informative, one of them even makes some of the gorgeous pottery presented in the dining room. We started with an oyster each, the house made sourdough rye, then continued with two more small plates and two entrees and a shared dessert, which the host presented with a birthday candle very sweetly. If all we had were oysters and that bread and butter all night, I think we would be satisfied, but everything we had was wonderfully unique and balanced, bursting with flavors and quite simply gorgeous to look at. We each had a cocktail with dinner and I had another with dessert, they were all developed by the bartender on staff and some of the best drinks we’ve had. The menu changes monthly/seasonally, and even though we live far out of state we are already planning another trip to the area next year to come here again. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

We had our first meal at SoLo last night and walked out loving the atmosphere, but not overly impressed with the portion sizes or the fifteen minutes we had to wait to get our credit card back. The sourdough app was just okay. The butter was bland and for what it was they should just bring bread to the table. I ordered the duck (3 small pieces and some vegetables) and was still hungry after cleaning my plate. The food was delicious, but I definitely didn’t feel satisfied afterward. My husband’s Raman seemed more substantial. We finished with the dark chocolate cremeux, which again was a little bowl type sample. Perhaps, I would have felt better about the dessert if I wasn’t still hungry after finishing my entree. I think the inside is beautiful and I appreciate the effort put into making the dining experience nice, but I think it may just be a few drinks at the bar kind of place for us. If we’re going to spend that on a meal I want to at least feel full when walking out.

This is not a place you would find by chance; you would drive right past this unassuming house built in the late 1700s. But make it your destination, and an excellent dinner awaits. The interior is charming, the staff friendly and ready to give excellent service. So my wife and I shared the sourdough rye bread and a bowl of the baked potato soup. This is an elevated potato soup, with trout roe, smoked bacon, and scallions. It’s almost a meal.
For the main, I enjoyed the pork ramen, which was an explosion of flavor, (and gets a “yum”), while my wife went with the rigatoni, also top notch. After my usual starting cocktail, I ordered the pairing cabernet, most enjoyable. The atmosphere was conversational with sprinkled laughter. Not to be missed if you are in the South Londonderry area.

The food here is genuinely great. It’s fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The visit itself fell short. We were seated about 25 minutes past our reservation. While we waited, one cocktail arrived containing bits of paper and had to be remade. Worse, my friend ordered a nonalcoholic beer and was given a regular one, which she only noticed after a few sips. I recommend this restaurant for the food and would happily come back, but the front-of-house needs tighter attention to detail so that the experience matches the prices.

Great restaurant in an area where there are not many. The do a good job of accommodating gluten free options. They have shrunk their portions in comparison to last time I went. But quality food and drinks. I got the fish dish on their winter menu which changes every season. Ramen is best item hands down.

What an incredible experience. My wife and I along with 2 other couples came here for a night out without the kids to celebrate Father’s Day and this place was amazing.

The hospitality was top notch from the owners giving us their back story, the private dining room we dined in, to the staff explaining each dish to us.

The drinks were delicious and the meals were incredibly flavorful and completely original.

We all walked away having an amazing time and a lasting memory.

We plan to come back again later in the summer when they change out the seasonal items.
