this is a restaurant near the chiselhurst caves that was an absolute Banger of a seafood spot. came here for Sunday roast with fish pie that had this potato top that was soft and so comforting along with the interesting chips that almost were like a hash brown quality. definitely get the upgraded version for 1 lb. more. so good, and the muzzles had great flavour. everything about it was good and the roast was super hardy and meaty cod fish roast with a bread that was almost like a sponge cake and the potatoes are really meaty but I would say of all the dishes. you can probably substitute this one but the quality still was just it’s the one go for it

We attended the “Oyster Masterclass” which included 3 courses (all divine particularly the poached oyster). The Oyster masterclass was informative and a really interesting experience to properly try and taste the different oysters. Large glasses of fizz which is also a positive and one of the best dirty martinis I have ever had. Cannot wait to return to see what else the restaurant has to offer.

Great fish restaurant on the royal parade in Chislehurst. Stopped in for lunch on new years day and wasnt disappointed.

We had a selection of the small plates and it was great for sharing. The first all tasted extremely fresh and the flavours were great.

The menu was not huge which was good too and they had daily specials on. Will be back most definitely!

My dad took me to fish union the other day for some dinner and it was lovely!! To start with, the restaurant itself is gorgeous and also very well laid out. The staff are all extremely polite, friendly and professional. I had ordered the chilli tiger prawns and my dad ordered the burrata with nduja and both were amazing and super flavourful. I had also ordered the salmon and scallops for my main with a portion of ‘our chips’ and they were both extremely nice!! I would definitely recommend this place, 10/10 🙂

Wanted a fish restaurant and found Fish Union local to us . Great food and great service too

We had the yellow fin tuna and dressed crab for starters

Mussels and Turbot( one of the daily specials ) for main

Dessert – Kent Mess and bread and butter pudding

Every mouthful was delicious as so tasty – portion size just right

All in all a great meal with great menu

I kind of want to like this place more than I did. Food was good but not great and at £50 per person with no alcohol or desert I just thought it was a touch toppy considering the limitations of a couple of the dishes.

Primarily the scallops were mostly a pile of red cabbage which in turn was overly acidic from the vinegar and drowned out the delicate scallop slices that were very thinly sliced.

Heritage tomato salad was good.

The best item on the table was the anchovy sauce on the cod that my wife had.

Service was good and everyone was very pleasant so I’m a bit conflicted about picking some minor gripes, but I just feel that at the price point it underdelivered on detail and quality of finish.

I’d go again but my wife says no!! (More conflict!!)

Fancy some real fresh seafood without having to drive all the way to Dover or Folkestone? Look no further!
Must try grilled tiger prawns, scallops and their octopus! Lobsters are very fresh and they also have a fish monger counter!
We did order a little bit too much but it’s rather hard make a choice!
The only little letdown are their side dishes, the lettuce was too overgrilled, broccoli bit too oily and triple cooked chips was lacking some taste. But otherwise well done on the small dishes especially! Oh and as there isn’t a door between kitchen and restaurant, it does tend to get a little bit ‘smelly’ so make sure you don’t wear your most expensive outfit!
Super friendly staff and owner, too!

We throughly enjoyed everything about our evening at Fish Union last week. The seafood was some of the tastiest and well cooked I’ve ever had. The young girls who served us were very lovely, professional and thorough. Our favourites were definitely the Octopus and Seafood Bouillabaisse, everything was fresh, tasty & cooked to perfection. Only pointer would be that for the price, the prawns could be served as 4 instead of 3, since it is likely people will be sharing these small plates.

Can’t wait to return!

We had the prawns and the scallops to start which were simply amazing. The monkfish was delicious but expensive as it’s on its own. The wine and the dessert was also amazing. However nobody warned me of the red hot bowl that I burnt my fingers on at dessert and then the taps I went to soothe my hand with were marked up hot and cold wrong. Also they forgot my chips which then came out as I was finishing my main which I found poor. However the food here is worth the visit for sure.

Everything was so delicious! The service was amazing & you certainly get what you pay for.
I thought it was a little smoky so I had to keep going outside as it was making my eyes water but looking around this could’ve just affected me. I know the kitchen didn’t have a door so maybe they could ventilate the kitchen more so it didn’t go out into the dining area.
Thank you for such a wonderful evening, we can’t wait to go back again!
