Carmela’s Coffee Shop is such a gem! The space is beautiful, cozy, and modern — perfect for relaxing, working, or catching up with friends. The vibe is warm and welcoming, and the seating areas make you want to stay awhile.
My iced latte was delicious and smooth, and everything felt thoughtfully curated. You can tell a lot of care went into the design and experience. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be back! ☕✨

Carmela’s was a deeply disappointing experience. The reason they have 5 star reviews is because they offer a free drink to do so. While the woman at the front was kind and transparent about the wait time, that was unfortunately the only positive.
Upon arrival, all of the tables were dirty – I ended up wiping ours down myself. I also noticed the owner focused on rearranging displays rather than addressing the cleanliness of the dining area.
The food was underwhelming across the board. The coffee cake was dry, the strawberry matcha latte was nearly flavorless, and the shakshuka tasted like plain tomato sauce served with bland bread. The breakfast sandwich was the most disappointing: unseasoned scrambled eggs and what appeared to be old, possibly store-bought bacon bits. To make matters worse, most tables didn’t even have salt and pepper.
After a 30-minute wait and a $50 bill, the quality was nowhere near acceptable.
Even the bathroom was poorly maintained; watered-down dollar store soap at a restaurant charging these prices is unacceptable. The table next to us was also visibly upset, noting that their coffees were both incorrect and half full.
I genuinely don’t understand the hype. This place is severely overpriced for the quality offered, and I won’t be returning.

I stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting the West Palm Beach Green Market, and I’m so glad I did. Carmela Coffee has a warm inviting space that’s perfect for gathering with friends or family over coffee or a meal. We tried the Avocado Toast, Scrambled Eggs, and the delicious, fluffy pancakes. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the best part was that the dishes weren’t overly salty, just simple, farm-fresh food done right. Highly recommend.

Carmela’s is a charming little coffee shop on Clematis Street. My go-to menu item is the crispy bacon and brie sandwich. It’s wonderfully decadent — the creamy brie, salty bacon, sweet onion jam, and perfectly toasted rustic bread come together in the most delicious way. It’s the ultimate comfort breakfast sandwich. I highly recommend it — you won’t be disappointed!

Avo with Egg and a Hazelnut coffee. The amount of delicious avocado that was placed on this toasty bread was EXCELLENT!! This could actually feed two (depending on how hungry you are). Atmosphere os very pleasant and quiet. I did come on an early Saturday morning. Its walking distance to a beautiful lake as well. I give this a 10/10!

Over price, i got the salmon and egg. Egg was suppose to be poached, it wasnt. Literally just that. No seasoning, no toppings, same with just lox and bagel. Just cream cheese and lox with tons of capers. It was good besides the egg. Like capers are salty, no one wants salty lox bagel. There also suppose to be lettuce, tomatoe and onion on this $14 lox and bagel.
The staff was friendly but left the store unattended to have her cig break. However she did clean and was kind to greet and say goodbye. Restaurant is lovely, clean and nice. Overprice but lovely place to try once. Idk if ill come back! I dont drink coffee but someone loves coming to this place for coffee!

Fire your barista! The flat white was disgusting and overheated. It tasted like a cup of hot oat milk with traces of coffee flavor. Your soggy breakfast croissant was sad to look at, let alone eat. How you have 4.7 stars I’m not sure. I’m starting to think that many Palm Beach restaurants have inflated ratings with bot reviews. Very, very bad, folks.
