This spot is legit REAL Jamaican cuisine! I have tried everything from the pepper steak and rice to the jerk turkey and every sigle experience has been consistently delicious. I have pictures below of the pepper steak and a side of rice and peas which were all so flavorful. They also serve fresh juices like pineapple passion and soursop which are very delicious. You can’t go wrong with anything on this menu. I can not wait until the restaurant is up and running. In the meantime they occasionally open the food truck on Fridays at the location on Wyoming. Also, the owner will have fresh banana bread for sale when she is able to make it. 1000/10 I would recommend. Black owned and amazing customer service!

The customer service from Taniesha, Richard and their staff is excellent! You feel at home and well taken care of. Plus, the food is so delicious. The flavors are just right and everything blends together, giving the authentic Jamaican taste.
I had the oxtail with rice and peas, curried goat with the yellow seasoned rice and the Mac and cheese.
I look forward to dining here again

Due to the outpour of customers from social media post. Got my order for lunch and it wasn’t correct I wish I would have jus waited til another day to order… I was suppose to have jerk with no beans I hate dark meat, but I went with it because it was the only jerk chicken option, only to discover beans in my rice I will return hopefully earlier and on a Friday maybe I can get some of that pepper steak! First time today after Chow Down Detroit review. Absolutely amazing food experience. These folks are so sweet. The ox tail and jerk chicken were some of the best food I’ve ever had, but can we talk about the sides? Blown away! That slaw salad and red beans are next level. Plantains were good, but I think I expected tostones, still good though. The corn bread had a hint of vanilla or possibly rum…delicious. Jerk chicken was well smoked and I felt like a kid again. Can’t wait to go back. I drove an hour north for this, and I’ll keep doing it. Jamaican food and blazing sun is the best time in Detroit.

Delicious! The oxtail & jerk chicken were both really tender & flavorful. The beef patties disappeared before I got a chance to take a photo. And the pineapple passion fruit was refreshing. I’ll be back to try their curry soon, as well as the other juices.

Very hot and flavorful food. I Ordered the jerk chicken plate with red-beans and rice, oxtail gravy, veggies and cornbread. Nice portion size. Plate was very heavy. Paid $55 for two plates and two drinks. Kind of expensive but my plate was enough for lunch and dinner. Fast and friendly service. Warm smiles and great attitudes. I will return and recommend to everyone!!!! Hope Jamaica mi hungry apply and be accepted to the food truck park coming soon to Dearborn!!!!
