I needed a short getaway and this place had good reviews, so I did the 47 mile drive from Helper to Duchesne. They brought a generous portion of chips and salsa. I got the two burrito combo plate. One al pastor, one carne asada, beans and rice. They brought red and green salsa, and also a bottle of sour cream, a nice touch that I have not seen before. Food came quickly and was very good. Friendly service. Not much parking close to the entrance, but there’s a lot around back. Great place to eat overall.

We had a great experience having lunch here on the was to Dinosaur National Monument. The food overall was great. The carne Asada had the best mix of spices on it, and the birria tacos with the comsume was so delicious. And honestly, the chips and salsa were the best and I could just eat those for my meal! Only complaint with the food was the fries could’ve been a little crisper in the loaded fries. We got the 4 leches cake and the flan. Both good, though the flan maybe could’ve been a little smoother in texture. The service was awesome. Very attentive and kind to our larger group.

I took a drive that had me go through Duchesne today. I haven’t been through in a while but saw this place on Google maps and it looked too good to pass up.
Great place with incredible staff! Everyone was friendly and quick to get me seated. The chips and salsa were good, and I ordered a Chicken sope and an al pastor taco. Awesome!
Very authentic and tasty! I was actually watching the cooking going on in the kitchen. It tasted even better than it looks, and showed the commitment of the owner to provide great food!
I live an hour away, but can’t wait to plan my next trip just to eat here again!

We weren’t expecting such good food on our stop here but we are so glad we stopped in. Super authentic food and fresh. You can never go wrong with carne asada tacos or carne asada anything really! The quessabirria tacos were really good and the flan was also a very pleasant surprise. So delicious. Make sure to use their sauces too. The chips and salsa yummm! Todo estaba delicioso ! Tiny hole in the wall, but with authentic Mexican food. Fresh ingredients, home style cooking. We had the Pozole that was mildly spicy $ plentiful, chorizo tacos & Al pastor burrito. All were delicious!

Felys Mex Restaurant was decent. The chips were rock hard and the salsa was sub-par. I had the fried gordita which was not great and a carne taco which was great. The lady at the cashier was very friendly. For a small town this was a good spot to eat.
