Man I gotta say this spot is solid.
Every single person I’ve run into working there has been super friendly and respectful. You can just tell they’re good people. What really got me though was I originally said I wanted a fish taco, then changed my mind. The lady in the back overheard me, made it anyway, and gave it to me for free. She didn’t have to do that at all.
And the food? Actually really, really good. I had the pescado tacos, the carne asada burrito supreme, and rice and beans. Everything was made right, tasted fresh, and had a lot of flavor. Nothing felt thrown together.
If you work at the mall or you’re just in the food court trying to figure out where to eat, this is probably the best spot to grab something. Good people, good food, good vibes.

I have went to their food truck in Eagle Point many times. I love their hot Cheeto burritos. The man was even extremely nice before Christmas when we went to pick out a tree in the mall parking lot and gave us a deal and great service. Today we went to the mall in support of their new location and my love of their hot Cheeto burrito, we decided to get cocos tacos instead of the orange chicken we usually get when we go to the mall. This was a big mistake. I opened the foil and there was a wet soggy burrito with red grease that didn’t look like my usual. (I don’t eat beef) I opened up the burrito to check the inside and it was not what I ordered. It also had nasty black specks in it that they called their “salsa”. We specified I didn’t want salsa to begin with, but then it being nasty black specks that looked like they scraped the grill into it. I refused to eat the burrito, so my man went to get a refund for it. The lady and her daughter were extremely rude. They also insist they’ve never had refried beans, which is funny since I always open up my burritos before eating to make sure it’s correct and doesn’t have meat, and it’s always been refried beans. And I attached a photo of a post, from cocos tacos themselves, of what suspiciously looks like refried beans. To insist you’ve never had refried beans is crazy.
We will gladly spend our money elsewhere, at places that don’t argue with dietary restrictions or requests, and who can handle an accident without condescending and inaccurate lectures.

Great local small family business! My personal favorite are the rolled tacos with myocoba beans and rice. The beans are different than the common pinto or black bean. They have a creamy texture and natural buttery flavor without the use of lard. I also like their house made salsa. Red, green, habenero, Pico or salsa de aciete they’ve got you covered. The smoky charred flavor of the salsa de aciete is awesome! Think mexican chili oil. Good on anything! Everything is fresh and you can taste the love. Would recommend the new spot and the OG food truck in Eagle Point. Support local ❤️

I went to the new location in the mall and cashier was not personable and just handed me all my items without even asking if I wanted a bag and the rice was undercooked. Definitely disappointed in service and food quality.

My expectations weren’t high.. I’m eating at a mall food court. But it was fire! Even my wife who doesn’t love Mexican food can’t stop talking about it. If the mall survives it’s because Cocos Tacos wills it.

Regular Mexican food for way more than anywhere else. La Torta on Stewart is still the very best. Lower your prices. We all know how cheap it still is to make Mexican food
