So cute inside and immaculate! The owner was so friendly, service was excellent and so was the food and the drinks. We had bloody Mary’s, burgers, baked French onion soup and cheese curds. The bathroom had a bouquet of live flowers! We picked this place from Google Maps because it was on our route and had great reviews. We will definitely be stopping here again!

We had a graduation party for three kids in the banquet room and we had around 250 people show up. The 18 year olds got to play pool and listen to music. We catered in food which was awesome and the bar service was phenomenal! Everyone had a great time and said how beautiful the room was!

Wayside saloon is an awesome bar outside of Freeport. It has a great atmosphere, kind bartenders, and fair prices. The owner is very kind and considerate to her guest. She has done a very good job creating a friendly, clean and appealing atmosphere.

What a nice place!! I have it on good authority that all the menu is fabulous!! I can attest to the grilled cheese, and the grilled chicken sandwich. Everything was good!! This bar has a lot of space. Many fun games. Great service. Very glad we stopped here. We’ll be back to try out more of the awesome menu!!! Apparently everything is air fried, done to order, and each item is done one at a time. The wait time for food could be quite lengthy, but a very nice spot to relax and visit,and play traditional bar games while you wait!!
