Location is slipping! Used to be a really good pizza just a cpl years ago! This last time the pizza did not have nearly enough sauce or cheese going to the edge. We ordered “Extra Sauce” Too! Left too wide of plain crust around the perimeter. It was just dissappointing and out of character from the previous visits. Sauce seemed watered down & flavorless from normal. Maybe it’s just me & had higher expectations. Probably my fault for tipping first & not checking the pizza before I left. Not terrible, just not great. Definitely NOT extra sauce though!?! They use a lot of sesame on the crust too, that is alright, but seems to dry it out more! So I will just post the pics and let you decide for yourself. Just average or 5.0/10

First time ordering from here! The pizza was great! The crust (butter garlic) was delicious and the dough is soft and tasty. Pizza is 10/10. I’m docking a star due to the salad. The antipasto has a very very small amount of thinly diced meat and cheese. Compared to other pizza chains (specifically Jets and Hungry Howies) they are lacking there. The dressing was great but I’m sad I won’t be able to order my favorite salad from here because it’s not much of the good stuff that make it antipasto. Breadsticks and pizza dipping sauce were great!

This has always been one of my favorite pizza places, and we keep giving it another try but it just isn’t the same. .
Bacon has been grizzly and icky the past few times we’ve ordered, so this time we ordered with different toppings.
Unfortunately, we were still very disappointed. If there was sauce, it was so little it was undetectable, and our pizza was barely cooked. The pineapple was raw and so was parts of the dough.
When you include the fact that they are more pricey than average, 30 dollars for a mediums… we don’t mind paying for quality, but that just isn’t the case anymore.
We were debating between jets and sorrentos and decided to give them another try, our pizza’s have been bone dry every time. We were early hoping it would be different, maybe an off day, but I think the quality is just gone.

I would give a zero if possible, their bacon is either fatty and chewy or hard crusty pieces that are not chewable. This is not the first time I have experienced this with their bacon. Their medium pizza is the size of a personal from any other pizza location. I have tried to return and give several chances because this location is convenient but I will NEVER be a customer here again. I threw in the garbage before I could get a photo, I was so disgusted and would not even feed my dog the bacon.

We order from this location most often. This time I ordered a square classic pizza. It tasted great at the crunchy crushed edge but my next bite was raw! I thought it was cheese stretching then realized it was it was raw pizza dough.
Great pizza. Great spaghetti with meat sauce. Order extra as sometimes just needs more. I like saucy pasta. Lmbo Gluten Free pizza crust is great too. We really like the spaghetti too. They have really good sauce. Would recommend this location. Staff is efficient, location well maintained.

Best pizza joint around! They never mess up my order or done wrong. My pizzas are always made the same and for the price you can’t beat it. So much better than Jett’s or Green lantern pizza. Never have to wait long or deal with any rude employees. Just all around great people and establishment.

Brad and the entire crew at Sam’s Sorrento Pizza are wonderful. As the Executive Director of a local non-profit, I know Brad to be extremely generous and supportive of local causes and initiatives. He never hesitates to support our programs for people experiencing homelessness in the community, and has generously donated delicious pizza to help us fight food insecurity. Just moved in the neighborhood ordered here for the 1st time….One large pizza one topping 20 bucks.. They forgot the sesame seed crust.. Pizza quality was not up to the other Sorrento locations. In my opinion I would not recommend going here. I will stick to the Mt Clemens location.
