We stumbled upon this gem on our way to Whitetail Ski resort. I’m Canadian and have had a lot of BBQ in different states including NC, TX, TN, MO, GA… and this place was in my top 3 for brisket. The owner was also very friendly and we hope to come back again.

Would recommend the jalapeño cheddar sausage. So yummy.
They do not sauce their meats. Which is exactly how I like my bbq. Sauces offered were great.
Unfortunately, could not say much about the other meats we tried. A little salt and pepper goes along way. They were very flavorless with very little Smokey hints .
Hoping it was an off day.
Would go back try them again.

Started off our road trip with an excellent dinner at Still Smokin. They’d run out of ribs but their chopped brisket and mac n cheese were excellent. My husband got 3 sliders, cheesy potatoes and slaw. The star was the Arnold Palmer. Fresh squeezed lemonade…literally watched them squeeze the lemons and stir in the sugar. Great iced tea. Really wishing I’d gotten a second one for the road.

Some of the best pulled pork barbecue / BBQ I’ve tried in western Maryland! The slaw was on point and the green beans didn’t disappoint.
It would be great if this place had even a single table out on the sidewalk out front. But the town might not allow that.

I’ve always wanted to stop here, but their previous hours wouldn’t work with my schedule. However, now it allows me too. Even though this place is really small (with no bathrooms) don’t be disappointed when it comes to the food. The food is fantastic! I decided to get the 3 sand-which platter which has chicken, brisket, and pork. Their homemade sauce the spicy and the sweet is a killer combo on any of the choice of meat. The mac and cheese was baked and was home made compared to your instant at other restaurants. From the outside it’s just a little hole in the wall, and I now have leftover to take home. Will definitely be back!

I really wanted to like this place, but the food was incredibly mediocre for the price. I ordered the brisket sandwich, which was $15, and it was just okay. Nothing about it stood out and it definitely was not worth what I paid. I also tried the brisket bowl, which came in a medium sized container, the kind you usually see at the Amish market for potato salad or coleslaw. For $17 the portion was small and disappointing. It was just brisket, coleslaw, and beans. The brisket was decent but forgettable, the coleslaw was ok and the beans tasted average.
On top of that, I ordered the jalapeño cheddar sausage, and it turned out to be just one sausage about six inches long. Again, for the cost, it felt like a poor value.
The staff was polite and the service was fine, but the portions and quality did not come close to justifying the prices. Overall, the food was average at best and overpriced for what you get. I left hungry and unsatisfied, and unfortunately, I would not come back.

I placed an order here the other day after this place came highly recommended from a friend of mine, however I was left incredibly disappointed. I ordered the brisket sandwich with coleslaw and a pina coloda lemonade, the brisket was super dry and lacking flavor and the coleslaw had ZERO taste I couldn’t taste an ounce of seasoning, the pulled pork sandwich my daughter ordered was a little better but still super dry, the Mac n cheese she got tasted very sour and like it came from a can, it was very weird in texture as well and way overcooked. Also $21 for a sandwich a side and a drink is absolutely insane! I would’ve been more than fine with that if the food had been the quality i was expecting for the price. Overall I think there is definitely a great deal of room for improvement.

And it was the best meat I have ever had.

After riding on the C&O bike trail all morning, I was thrilled to try this BBQ. The owner was kind enough to let me charge my E bike battery while we feasted on the delicious Mac bowls. The portions were really big despite what some other miserable punter said and very filling. I had pulled pork which was moist, delicious and very filling. My husband had the brisket. I am usually disappointed in brisket but I tried his and was wowed by the flavor and moistness. We felt welcomed in as bicyclists and highly recommend Still Smokin’ BBQ to all who do the trail.

Just ordered through doordash. The brisket baked beans and corn bread were good. But the chili was a little too salty.
