When my husband suggested a bar to visit for our date night, I was understandably skeptical. The Side Bar surprised me and exceeded any expectations I may have had. Devon, the bartender, was awesome and easy to talk to.
The bar is connected to the Community Oven – you have the option to order from their custom menu or the Community Oven menu. It means your options are endless. We ordered the Steak Tips with Truffle Fries, and BBQ Chicken Deep Dish Pizza. The pizza looked small, but it was a lot of food for one person – I recommend sharing. The crust was perfect, and I enjoyed the mix of flavors. Unfortunately, they do not have a custom cocktail menu, but Devon was able to make any drink we were craving. They also offer a variety of beers and canned drinks.
The space is cozy and offers a variety of activities during your visit, including shuffleboard, board games, and a pool room, which costs $10 per hour. You don’t feel rushed to leave, and I had a great experience. They have rotating weekly specials throughout the week – we will definitely stop by in the future when we can’t decide on dinner.

We had an event here with 35 adults and it was absolutely perfect. The event coordinate was organized and so easy to work with. The bartender helped clear tables and took such good care of us. Everyone was commenting that the space was just perfect, casual and nice at the same time. Food was delicious. We all couldn’t be happier!

Nice little place for a casual cocktail. It is small and pleasantly quaint. The bartender was nice. She made our drinks exactly how we wanted. Prices are fairly reasonable. Not a place for children because the acoustics make it loud. I liked that it was detached from the Family Restaurant. Nice touch!

I’ve been here a bunch of times they have surprised me with their food it’s been very good both times. I’m tried their Detroit style pizza diet good highly recommend.which Great service and friendly staff, go see Matty on. Mondays. It’s clean and has a nice atmosphere, albeit a typical bar vibe.
Turkey Club sandwich is good. Sometimes, they grill the bread, and sometimes they toast it. It’s better when grilled. Suggest their onion rings with Cajun seasoning. The only item i don’t suggest is he BBQ chicken sandwich,

I wanted to love this bar. We came to this bar (all 40+) for one, the bartender wasn’t super nice at first but was then ok when we started talking. He suggested another bar across the parking lot for another drink because it had live music for another hour. We went there for one then came back to this bar. The bartender then refused to serve us and said we were all ‘slurring our words’ despite having two sober members in our party. It’s unfortunate that a business would deny service probably because we weren’t ‘locals’.

Terrible bartender! Myself(68years old) and my 3 daughters came to this bar and bartender became very agitated when I pushed plates back that were on bar when we sat down and then he refused to serve us ! He stated that we were “slurring0 words “ despite we were taking an uber so we waited outside for Uber and he came out to harass us further as we waited ! If you are not local Don’t call me here!!
