A delicious Indian fusion restaurant in Rancho Cordova. We searched for a new place to enjoy tasty Indian food close to us and found the hidden gem. Tucked away in a small strip mall is a beautiful little Indian delight. The decor was lovely and upscale and the service friendly and helpful. We enjoyed everything we tried. Chris our server was very nice and helped us choose some vegetarian based options. A yummy cracker and sauce was delivered to the table to enjoy as we made our dinner choices. a We started with the Manchurian, fried cauliflower in a tasty sauce. Delightful and perfect appetizer. Next we had a paneer suggested by Chris. A nice spice and perfect heat on traditional cheese. Our main was a chick pea masala garlic naan and potato stuffed naan. The heat and spice level was perfect and the flavors will have us coming back for more. We were treated to a refreshing desert that Chris described way better than I can here. It was like ice cream but better light and creamy with a lovely light saffron finish. If you enjoy Indian food you should definitely give this place a try. Definitely we will be going back to try the butter chicken and tandori.

— ’26-1-5 took over space of prior, long-time Indian reataurant, then beautifully remodeled the inside, sit-down dining, and revamped the menu.
— Easy to find in established Sun River strip mall with plenty of free parking.
— Current seating for small parties (but tables can be pushed together until they revamp other side of restaurant for larger groups).
— Small 4-seat bar seating. Yes, bottled beer and wine selection–including specific pairing to Indian cuisine. Yes, can bring own own wine bottle for an uncorking cork charge. Also, 4 beers on tap. Hard liquor license pending (hopefully for approval by August ’26).
— Delicious Indian fusion dishes. Coke-brand soda served at table in can (no soda fountain).
