Door Dash order. Food came and no sauce provided for dumplings. Ordered the combo hibachi and requested steak (medium) and shrimp; gave me steak (mediumish) and chicken. The hibachi had very little vegetables and no noodles, but there was enough rice to compensate for lack of noodles but flavor was lacking so I had to drown it in yum-yum sauce. No brown sauce provided for the hibachi either. No utensils were provided either.
Overall it was acceptable, but felt mid-range. Would not order delivery from here again though.

Went for dinner after a long day at work and arrived 30 minutes before closing. The host was super friendly and even asked us about our day. We didn’t feel rushed at all even thou they were closing soon. She took the time to explain the menu how their pricing worked. Our cook was pretty entertaining too.

I love this kind of restaurant where they cook right in front of you, but this is not one I’d visit again. The fried rice had a sweet sticky sauce, the sushi order wasn’t correct, and despite identifying a shrimp allergy three times, I still got shrimp on my plate. The tuna was fresh and good quality, and the server was kind. But our chef was seemingly pretty inexperienced.

The server wasn’t attentive and made horrible faces when we asked for more drinks for our kids. She completely forgot the sushi roll our friends ordered. The atmosphere was bland. Usually the cooks will laugh and make jokes with you, but here he didn’t even speak and there wasn’t any music. We had 4 disappointed kids by the end of it. The shrimp weren’t deveined and the normal overflowing plates were nonexistent. We paid $110 for 2 adults and 2 kids. We won’t be returning.

Food was well cooked with acceptable portion size. Chef seemed a little green around the edges and must just be starting out. The owners were there overseeing everything, however their two sons (normally cooking at the tables) were not present. The bill was $130 and there were four (4) of us and included two (2) mixed drinks. All in all, a solid dinner for a slightly higher than average price.

The husband and I decided to go here to have a simple anniversary dinner. When we walked in we were greeted by the host, and there was a faint smell of bleach in the air. Good to know that day keep up the cleanest however the hostess stated to us that it will be a few minutes so the husband and I decided to go sit at the bar and wait. We notified the hostess of our decision she just nodded and quickly walked away. We sat at the bar for about 5 minutes there was two individuals behind the bar one look like she was making sushi and another one was typing into the computer screen. They both saw us sitting at the bar did not acknowledge us did not even so much as smile at us. It also appeared that the sushi maker was also the bartender, needless to say we left the customer service there is horrible. Everybody looked rushed and overwhelmed. We will not be returning oh, if I could give it a lower score I would.

Awful Experience. Waitress was great. Cook was very inexperienced, no appetizers, no show…was dropping utensils, shorted food on the plates and nothing was on time. Time from when rice served til meat was 15-20 minutes. Owner said she was sorry and it was cooks 1st time and….. he told her after he was done that he was short meat for plates so he just shorted plates. Offered a 10% discount for our inconvenience. We will not be coming back.

Polite staff and comfortable atmosphere greet you at the door while the exciting aromas and sizzles from the hibachi chefs expertly entertain and cook simultaneously. Keep an eye out for value priced deals throughout the week and call for reservations during holidays… they stay busy!

I have been going to Shogun for years. I enjoy going to sit at the amazing bar while enjoying freshly made sushi & ice cold beer. Whenever we have family functions (like birthdays, etc.) we always choose Shogun Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi because of the high quality food they prepare and the at home atmosphere. The are the most customer-focused restaurant that we visit. Every experience makes you feel like you are right at home. This family owned & operated restaurant is perfect for any occasion. They are reasonably priced and again amazing food. Dara, is truly one of the most amazing sushi chefs I have ever seen. Thank you for everything Shogun.
