Visited after Mass on a Sunday. I Chose a large menudo and a torta, delicious! French fries fried perfectly (not oily, soggy or too dry). Clean, great service and the coldest iced tea I have had at a restaurant! Price is fair compared to pretty large, portions.

It was a busy Sunday when we arrived to the sounds of a live band and crowed tables. However, we were greeted by a cheerful waitress who sat us right away. The food was good, service was excellent, and music topped the experience The owner later came our to personally ensure that everyone was well served. Definitely plan on returning a d highly recommend it to you.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this experience at El Fogon was unacceptable. The food was horrible, and the restaurant itself was dirty from the moment we walked in. The final straw was seeing roaches, which made us get up and leave immediately.
This place needs serious cleaning and quality control. Don’t waste your time coming here — it’s absolutely disgusting.

Food was great, I had an order of barbacoa tacos which came with 5 tacos 3 different cups of salsas, onions, cilantro, and limes. Also came with chips and salsa. Prices were more than fair. My total came out to $10.83

Horrible service, took over 10 minutes to bring my drink out, restaurant was almost empty. Took her another 15 minutes to come out and tell me they jad justvran out of menudo…..25 munutes sitting there waiting for nothing. Tea was nasty, and the tostadas were stale…. if you have taste buds or care about good service dont waste your money here

I took my family to the restaurant called el fogon down town El Paso, as we walked in we sat down no one came to take our order or offer us an drink. Me and my wife looked at each other and after 25 – 30 minutes of no service we left, not sure if It was because I was black or because I had a family. There where many servers to take our order but didn’t. This is the place. It shouldn’t be because the color of your skin that people judge you by, I remember after we sat down 10 minutes after us three guy walked in and they where served right away, not two minutes later right away.
