This location is quite convenient since it’s next to 168 Asian Mart. I was surprised, however, that it was not busy when we arrived. The first thing that we noticed was the price. The prices have gone by $3-4 dollars from the time when the last menu was put up on this site. I think it’s a bit too much for the Pho at $18. I wish they were cheaper. The House Special Pho was decent with good flavor. The bowl itself was huge but the amount of noodles and meats was not that much. Maybe it’s better to use a smaller bowl. It was super quiet inside because there was no music inside. I think they should add some music to make it more comfortable. There is a small robotic cart that goes around taking items to different tables. Also, the ladies bathroom needs some maintenance to make the visit more comfortable. Overall, the experience is fair.

This is what real pho tastes like. Having visited Vietnam—both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi—I can confidently say that Pho Hanoi serves the most authentic pho within at least a 50-mile radius. My bowl of choice is the Pho Tai.

Unlike many other restaurants, Pho Hanoi has stayed true to its Vietnamese roots, offering a genuine slice of life from Vietnam. The broth is rich, meaty, and deeply flavorful without being overly sweetened like you often find elsewhere. I truly appreciate the balance and depth of their flavor.

The restaurant is family-owned, and you can feel the care and pride they put into every bowl. The staff are kind and attentive, and their dedication shows in the consistency of their food.

I’ve been coming here regularly for a while now, and I plan to keep doing so for as long as I live in the area. Pho Hanoi is easily one of my favorite authentic spots in Metro Detroit.

On a cool, cloudy day, pho sounded really good.
After a quick perusal of the rather small menu – which does not include prices – I put in my order.
Then a robot trundled over with a steaming glass of tea. That is the hottest liquid I’ve ever seen. The robot was kind of cute but, because of the tiled floor, it spilled a good 1/3 of the tea before it got to the table.
About two minutes later, my pho arrived. Very good, but not great. And at $17 with tax included, they are a good bit more expensive than other places I’ve been in the area, by about 20-30%.
All through my visit, the man working the front of restaurant had various videos playing on his phone which he left on one of the tables, even when he went into the back. It was all in Vietnamese (as far as I know) but it was … odd. Not loud but unusual.

I always go there when I wanna get Bun-cha. Their bun-cha has just the right amount of food and it’s good price (not expensive) so it makes easier to go there. And this is my favorite point, that is they’re business hour is until 9:00pm. It’s not easy to find Vietnamese place that is open this late there days.. My wishes for their bun-cha are not using minty leaves (I’d enjoy it more if they have more coriander than minty leaves) and using slightly bigger container for their sauce for bun-cha noodle. Other than that, they do a really good job making their bun-cha yummy and affordable.

A Vietnamese restaurant with eye-catching, exotic décor that adds a unique touch to the dining experience. The pho is decent—flavorful but not extraordinary—while the spring rolls are fresh, well-prepared, and definitely a highlight of the meal.

The pho menu lists the price at $23, but the actual charge is $18. Prices change very frequently seems, so it’s better to call ahead to confirm. The taste is just average—okay, but nothing special. Considering the price, it’s not really worth it.

Amazing food and service! Authentic and cozy restaurant. Everyone should come and show them some love. They are temporarily closed until the end of February, but please give them a try! They are the real deal.

I went here right after new years to order food and the server was rude, repeatedly pretending like they couldn’t understand what I was saying despite us being the only ones there, and both of us speaking English very well. Despite this, I tried to order a bowl of Pho Daç Biet with no tendon and was told that isn’t authentic, also saying the bowl doesn’t include tripe and that she had never heard of these meat items… (this was not true, I’ve been eating pho for over a decade with my order being no tendon, meat on the side, and beansprouts steamed.. but whatever) this would have been fine had the bowls not been almost $20.. anyways, between the servers rudeness, the price, and the authenticity of the food, I rate this poorly. Especially because she tried to play on my “perceived ignorance” of the food and attempting to gaslight me into believing pho does not include these items… Can not recommend. We decided to visit one of the other many authentic vietnamese restaurants instead.
