We’ve had so many memorable experiences at Little Moss over the years — birthdays, holidays, spontaneous date nights, and evenings with live jazz. Most recently, we came for a brunch with our one-year-old daughter and family, and it was such a special experience. The team made us feel completely welcome, even with a baby in tow, and the attention to every detail — from the food to the atmosphere — was outstanding. The softshell crab sandwich, Benedict, crueller and other sweet treats were all showstoppers. It’s rare to find a place where the food is this exceptional and the hospitality makes you feel cared for. Little Moss is a gem!

Little Moss is my absolute favorite restaurant in New England. Fantastic cocktails and delicious dishes made with locally-sourced ingredients.

From steak to the salad, fish to the french fries, martinis to mojitos, everything is absolutely vibrant, fresh, and delicious. The photos I’ve included with this review represent many dinners over the course of months – the menu is ever-changing with the seasons, sometimes even one week to the next. But it’s not just the food and drink – the service and atmosphere are also wonderful. Little Moss is a truly special place.

By far the best breakfast I’ve had in a while, and hands down the best restaurant quality wise in the area. Every single dish we had during brunch was stellar, we can’t wait to go back!

We were here for my bday. One meal was very delicious; pasta with mushrooms, another pasta dish barely had any meat, mainly pasta and sauce. Finally, my meal, the tautog with saffron sauce tasted delicious, but the clams were so very tough and tasteless. Also there was only one or two sprigs of asparagus, that’s it! All in all, not too impressed with the amount of food and the quality as expect much more for the price. The appetizer was excellent and the bread was amazing!

Amazing restaurant, foods are awesome and really impressive. In addition, staffs all are friendly and patient. They treat us really nice, and I am so glad that I found this restaurant when I back to MA for my weekend stay.
Highly recommend everyone to order oyster, mussels toast, and ribs!

Little Moss is a magical outpost of gastronomy. Saying “it’s delicious,” although true, misses the truth of the place, which is culinary mastery and brilliant technique in the kitchen. Scallops crisped on the outside but tender on the inside, in a divinely seasoned lobster broth is one example – or the chicken confit with eggplant and cashew cream, with a crispy-skinned yet tender leg accompanied by eggplant with an almost gooey texture, also divinely seasoned… I could go on about every item on the menu, each different, yet fully realized in its own right. How do they do that? How do you make a scallop that crispy yet tender at the same time, with an indescribably smooth texture that caresses and tugs at the tongue? There aren’t words, these folks are just genius. You just gotta go. This is a GREAT restaurant.

The food, drinks and service were good, but I don’t think the price matches what you get. I feel like I overpaid. There is a 20% added to your check, good think that they have it written in their menu

Came here for my sister’s bachelorette and both the food and service were GREAT!
I think the portions were a tadddd small but we all were still able to comfortably share a bit of everything.
Between the 7 of us, we all got 1-2 bites of
– a dozen oysters
– ricotta & bread
– salad
– bread basket
– scallop crudo
– steak & frites
– spaghetti
The dessert was fabulous
