First time getting food from here after visiting a couple times over the past 6 months. The drinks are usually pretty good so I thought I’d try a bacon cheeseburger and their macaroni salad. The burger had american cheese, pickles, bacon, mayo and ketchup on it. It was absolutely delicious, and I love the smokey flavor the bacon had. It really hit the spot for comfort food. The macaroni salad was good for the first few bites with texture, and it was a little creamy, but then got a little overpowering and more mustard-like or vinegary for my taste as I tried to finish the whole cup. Presentation of the meal was very appealing. I also got a blueberry iced tea, which is always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend mixing it after you receive the tea as I forgot to this time and drank all of the blueberry flavor in the cup before I got to the bottom of the drink.

As far as service goes, the girls I’ve interacted with who work here are always nice. They do sometimes get a bit silly behind the counter, but you can tell they really enjoy working together. It’s definitely more of a laid-back coffee and food place than like Starbucks when it comes to getting your drink, but they do pay attention to detail when they make orders.

Nice restaurant out in the country. Food was great and the employees are very friendly. Try an Orange Peep-sicle!

A city-grade coffee shop hidden in rural Juniata. There have been many restaurants that have come and gone over the years in Richfield, most of them being mediocre. I can safely say that this is not one of them. The food and coffee are fairly priced and well prepared. The addition of baked goods and local packaged foods is a nice addition as well. I can specifically recommend the grinder and chai (but all of the other coffee we tried was great as well). The breakfast sandwiches were slightly blander than I would have liked, but they were still good and certainly fresh. The staff were very polite and professional. As for the décor, I appreciate the art calling back the history of the building as a feed mill. Overall, the restaurant both inside and out gives a modern-rustic feeling.

Old Mill Coffeehouse is a wonderful spot, perfect for enjoying a meal or hanging out with friends or family. Their food is consistently good, especially the omelette, baked oatmeal, French toast, and egg sandwich. While the cookies are a bit pricey for their size, they are tasty and worth trying! The avocado toast wasn’t my personal favorite due to the tomatoes, but everything else hit the mark. Coffee is solid, though there’s room to elevate the craft options. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the fact that they’re open on Sundays—a rare find around here—is a big plus. Highly recommended!

We come here fairly often. My daughter always gets iced matcha, and it is usually just ok. The smoothies are natural and not full of artificial flavoring. The hazelnut sunrise pastry was very hard and stale. The ice cream
is great of course! We got hot food today for the first time. We both got paninis and they were fine. Neither of us would get them again. The macaroni salad was very vinegary and I wasn’t able to eat it. Everyone lives Middleswarth Chips!

I love this place! The atmosphere was so calming, food was delicious, and the baristas were super friendly and efficient. Their fall drinks menu looked amazing, and although they did not appear to make their syrups homemade or grind their own beans, my “Flannel” aka brown sugar cappuccino, was extremely enjoyable. They even wrote an inspirational message on my cup! I wasn’t hungry, but they have a wide selection of sandwich melts, baked goods, and breakfast items such as Avacado toast, bagels, and baked oatmeal. I also loved how much seating there was. Definitely worth a stop!

Stopped in here after pizza! It was so nice to see a coffee shop open so late. We got a black berry tea latte. I never knew there was a tea latte. It tasted great. The price was good. One notable thing was that it wasn’t a cup full of ice, then drink dumped on top. There wasn’t that much ice at all. It was already cold. It didn’t need a cup of ice. I was happy to see the lack of it. I rarely get iced anything that isn’t full of ice.

I loved the atmosphere. And there were so many custom-made drink options.

Outside seating looked like a fun time to just sit and eat ice cream and enjoy the view.

They also sell a variety of knick-knacks. And a bunch of maple syrup.

Excellent hidden gem. The coffee is amazing and so is the food. The only suggestion is to use slightly less condiments (mayo, pesto for us specifically) it made the sandwiches a little soggy. However highly recommend to check out. Great place if you need gluten free options.

June, 2025 Update: Great to have a place that is open on Sundays where I can purchase local Reedsville milk in the half gallon glass bottles. Price is a little higher…$3.99, but then again, everything is going up.

October, 2023 Update: Panini wraps for a light dinner with flavored coffee of course.
Collectable items displayed from Old Mill’s former life.

Great new coffee shop with lots of breakfast & lunch options all day plus fresh desserts and ice cream. Open extended hours and drive thru.

Cozy group lounge area with a TV screen. Great atmosphere.

Carries Reedsville milk in glass bottles.
