Such a sweet staff! This is my 2nd time here and I’m blown away with how sweet the staff are. Valhika (I might have misspelled her name) was so sweet! She knew the items on the menu! She recommended what to try and oh man was she right! This is the best place to eat and be in a calm environment! Manager is also super sweet and helpful! She took my order last time. If I could give more stars I would! I will be telling everyone I can to come here!! It’s also very clean!!

First time visiting Latham Bakery, and everything was delicious. My husband had the meatball sub and broccoli cheddar soup and said it was the best soup and sandwich he’s had in a long time. I enjoyed the California sandwich and potato soup, which were also excellent. We tried a few desserts as well—everything was amazing. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back!

Nice relaxed atmosphere, tasty sweets, and good food. I had the roasted poblano soup that came with a nice chunk of really good bread perfect for dipping, a piece of carrot cake (exactly how I like it, full of raisins and nuts, so much better than the grocery store), and a delicious iced chai latte. Yum!

Latham Bakery is one of my absolute favorites! They have been making our cakes for birthdays for a couple of years now and they are always perfect. Their cookies and brownies are absolutely delicious too and definitely a family favorite.
What I love is that they do not just make sweets, they also have plenty of healthy options. I tried the “Choose 2” box recently and it was amazing, so fresh and flavorful. Even my kids enjoyed the salad which says a lot.
I am also so glad they extended their hours because now I can stop by after work. With such a wide variety of food, there is truly something for everyone. Highly recommend Latham Bakery for both sweet treats and healthy meals!

Honestly, this place can’t be beat. Coffee, desserts & meals are amazing here. They are my go to if I want to order a whole cheesecake or any kind of dessert for a party. I crave their grilled cheese & tomato soup, I could eat it every day if my wallet allowed. I was a loyal patron of the Forney location when I lived in Forney & now I’m just 10 min from this one in Kaufman. The only thing that makes this location a little better is that it has much more seating available.

We ordered 2 custom white cakes with strawberry fruit filling and cream cheese with strawberries on top. They were absolutely delicious and easily compared to the finest Dallas bakeries. We ordered the spinach artichoke grilled cheese sandwich and broccoli soup pick 2. Both were phenomenal. I didn’t want the soup to end. My daughter had the yogurt bowl. She was astonished by its amazing taste. The honey topping made it unique. Brownies were perfect. 5 stars all the way.

I have copy and pasted my review from the Canton store since there is now a Google location for the store in Kaufman. My review is in regards to Kaufman Latham.
The food was good but they need to hire more cashiers/staff or schedule their staff better.
My mom and I went around 12 and there was only one lady there to take orders. I think she got overwhelmed with how many came in for lunch and messed up our order badly – wrong drink for my mom, I didn’t get mine till we were almost done eating and even then she used whole milk instead of oatmilk like I asked, I asked for my panini to have sourdough and it was served with tortilla bread instead.
While we were sitting waiting, we saw some other people behind us going up and having to get things fixed as well.
I just want to clarify, the food was good. Just the service wasn’t what I was expecting.

We asked for Dr.Pepper and she gave us diet, she didn’t ask if we were to-go when we wanted to dine in and so our food came in a bag. We asked for pastries and we had to remind her to get them for us.
Again food was good, just service was meh.
Most recent visit (10/4/25) is the kind of service I expect, a different lady from the one before took our order, asked clarifying questions and food was as requested, and asked if we were dine in. I hope to have her next time I come with my parents.

Last Thursday I brought my grandma here for lunch. The sandwiches were crazy large but still reasonable priced. We could have definitely shared one but she was happy to dinner to take home. California Club was the best I’ve had in quite sometime.
When I was there, I was found out that they bake custom cakes and I’ve professionally baked custom cakes in my past so I’m super picky and not always easy to please. However, the cookies in the bakery tasted better than Tiff’s Treats so I figured I had nothing to lose here! So I saved myself some time and ordered a birthday cookie cake we needed for a kids party this weekend. Our 12 year old had all of the designs and I managed to combine them all into one (see posted pics). When she and everyone else saw the cake, they were so excited! No one wanted to cut into it because it looked SO great!!! Whoever baked the cake there-I can’t thank you enough for exceeding my expectations. The flavor was out of this world!
If you or anyone you know needs a custom cake baked or just want to fulfill your sweet tooth-Latham Bakery is the place to go! Also, they were so kind, professional and eager to please. I never heard the words no or we can’t do that. They went above and beyond. We can’t wait to go back for lunch and a sweet treat!

The vibes are everything! The place is so cute and the pastries are just as amazing as how they look! My boyfriend and I got a couple options and honestly 10 out of 10! If you’re ever drive through or by or around the area please do yourself the favor and stop by ! You won’t regret it. The ladies who helped us were so sweet! Hopefully they open a stop near Fort Worth lol loved every bite !
