Love their sandos. Churn and Bake next door is a great ice cream shop with a lot of unique flavors too.

LOVE this place and I am so happy it’s finally back open! Their sandos are the absolute best and I would genuinely come here every day if I could. This time I got the strawberry and cream, spicy katsu, and tamago. They are all a decent size and really fair price. Already excited to go back again soon!!

This place had been on my list for a while social media really hyped it up so I was excited to finally check it out.

I ordered the Chicken Katsu bento box with a side of curry and also wanted to try the sando sampler. For the sampler, I asked for chicken and egg, but I didn’t want the pork. Since they sell a variety of other sandwiches shrimp, fruit, tofu, etc. I thought swapping the pork for one of those would be a reasonable request. Unfortunately, I was told no substitutions were allowed, not even an exception for this time. The only option given was two chicken and an egg. That felt unnecessarily limiting, so I canceled the sampler and just kept the bento box.

The place was completely empty except for one table finishing up, yet my order still took about 25 minutes to come out. The bento box itself was okay good enough to eat, but not something I’d make a special trip for again. Overall, the lack of flexibility and helpfulness with my order made the experience less enjoyable than I had hoped.

At first glance, this restaurant not only looks amazing but tastes amazing. We got the chicken katsu bento special and although it took a bit longer than expected to come out, it was still delicious. We also ordered a seaweed salad but it wasn’t readily available, a notice on the menu or at the counter would’ve been good to know instead of waiting for it to not come, but we did get a substitute! I’d recommend this to anyone!

We came from out of town and tried the fruit Sandos. They were so fresh and tasted amazing.
We followed that up by coming back and getting the Miso Salmon Bento, Yakiniku Beef Bento, and Tonkatsu Bento. All of them were very delicious and they were made fresh to order. Everything came out hot, and the flavors were phenomenal. You could tell everything was made with love. Everything we ate tasted so good, so I’m sure the rest of the menu items are also spectacular.

Service was wonderful both visits, very friendly, very patient and helped us navigate and recommend different options for us.
We also loved the vibe of this space, great design, and layout of everything. Absolutely love this place!
Next time we’re in town, we’re going to try the rest of the menu!

This place is a little hidden gem! I wish more people knew about it – I’d love to see this business thrive. Everything was fresh and delicious and came out so fast. You walk in and go to the front to order, the menu is a cute chalk board on the right wall. Once you order, you seat yourself and they bring out your food. You can get water from the water machine next to the register. We got the tonkatsu bento special – highly recommend coming in between 11AM-3PM since they have a tonkatsu or chicken katsu bento for $14. We also got the Sando sampler and ube fruit sampler. Everything was so delicious! The rice was cooked just right in the bento + the tonkatsu was fried just crispy enough with a juicy interior. The sampler came with 3 flavors – egg, spicy chicken katsu, tonkatsu. Def great value for 3 different flavors and all were fantastic. We finished off with the ube sando which was so creamy, just the right amount of sweetness, and perfect way to end the meal. I definitely would come back to try other sando and bento box flavors. There’s also cute little things you can buy at the front of the store like stickers, keychains, etc + a little claw machine. 10/10 recommend!!

Expensive, Slow, Bland Bento.
The Good: Clean dining room, friendly counter person, pretty presentation.
The Bad: We waited over 40 minutes for food. Miso soup was from a packet, served in a giant Dixie cup. Dumplings and salad were okay. Some weird cold mashed potato side. Teriyaki chicken was bland at best, with very little sauce and had a fishy taste. Honestly, Eva Airlines had a better bento box than this “made fresh” restaurant. Very disappointed given high ratings from others.

my boyfriend and i found this hidden gem thanks to a friend and it was sooo good! we went probably after the dinner rush so there was only a few of the bento boxes left but they were the best ones i got a matcha strawberry sando, SOO creamy and yummy! and for savory, i got an avocado tofu cucumber. it was so fresh! my boyfriend got a trio bento with an egg salad sandwich and some sort of chicken katsu teriyaki (i can’t remember the other one haha) and my friend got some miso soup! everything was so delicious! the atmosphere was super chill, definitely a sit and study place or do some arts and crafts with your friends! we were quite literally the only ones there so it was really cozy! staff was also very sweet will come again on our next dallas trip!

We stopped for lunch on our anniversary weekend and were SO HAPPY we did! That was probably the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life and my husband was “blown away” by the ube fruit sando. We drove 20 mins to come try them (saw others talking about them on Tik Tok) and I cannot recommend them enough!!!
I got the spicy chicken sando, my husband got the tonkatsu sando and we split the sweet ube fruit sando. We will definitely be back!

Rolls were fresh and creative with different fruits inside that complimented the fish well! Bentos made to order but worth the short wait. Most everything else is grab and go including the rolls! Highly recommend. Great to stop by before a picnic or Togo lunch for the next day. Family owned and the owner is so kind.

We had a great experience at Yokozuna. It has a surprisingly spacious interior with quite a few tables. We got the fruit sandos, katsu bento, and the egg sandos.

Everything was delicious and made to order. The bento had a lot of fresh Japanese pickles, veggies, and salad. It was an amazing balance of freshness and flavors. The salad dressing tasted like it was just made and had great flavor.

The sandos were all really delicious as well. The girl at the front was nice enough to allow us to substitute the strawberry for an extra grape which was great. Usually we get sandos from Mitsuwa and they’ve been sitting around and get a little soggy. This was definitely not the case here. A freshly made sando is a gamechanger. The cream inside the fruit one was also very smooth and not overly sweet.

Can’t wait to come back and try more!
