The young man that took the order was the only thing good worth mentioning. Good job. Polite and seemed respectable. Holding meetings and conversations in front of patrons who’ve waited well over an hour to got fried food out the grease, is INSANE. For a Saturday, this should have been booming… We walked in and NO sides by 7:45… OK, Y’all opened at 6… On a Saturday, OK. It’s hot. Hand cut fries w/o a bit of crispness. Catfish pieces are particles, not pieces and thin cut. Tomatoes paper thin… Chicken whole, hot and good. Batter for fish and tomatoes seasoned good, but as stated they thin as hell. It’s still old pieces of Ruth’s sitting to my right, which takes away from the new paint and decor. I’m so I gave them a chance, cuz I knew… NOT WORTH IT!

I’m not gonna lie. I was extremely excited about coming to support this black business… We get to the location and they literally only offer three items on their menu. Absolutely not. They might as well just reopen when they can actually offer a real menu because I could’ve went to Guthrie‘s drive-in for some wings.

We visited on 1-24-26 the young man that took the order is very nice and respectful only thing good about restaurant. Placed order waited over 30 minutes to find out no okra waited another 10 minutes to get order then to find out no green tomatoes. 1/10 don’t recommend food was not good over cooked

I placed an order for a 2 piece pork chop combo at the top of the menu it says combos comes with fries and a drink….once I got my food the young lady at the counter tells me that it doesn’t come with a fry and a drink and then says ,I don’t know why they got that up there….my ordered came up to be $16.45 for 2 pork chops and bread only, and one of the pork chops isn’t a full pork chop, if I would’ve known that I wouldn’t have ordered, I will not be back.
