I was told that there was a new seafood restaurant in Fern Creek called Sweet and Juicy seafood, so I decided to check them out. I went and the place was empty. The staff was great. He informed me that they have been open since about January, but they don’t see a lot of business. It’s a decent location and the prices are good. I guess a lot of people don’t know about them.
I ordered the black mussels, a catfish sandwich, and 6 wings. The black mussels were great. They were doused in their sweet Cajun sauce. That sauce would taste amazing on a shoe!!! I didn’t make it out of the parking lot before I devoured them.
Next, I ate the catfish sandwich. It was fried golden brown and crispy. I forgot to get condiments, so I grabbed my handy backup pack of hot sauce and went for it. The sandwich and the wings came with seasoned fries. I felt they needed more seasoning on them, but it was fine. I just dipped them in the sweet Cajun sauce. That sauce was , yall.
Next was the lemon pepper Buffalo wings. They were cooked to perfection. A nice crispy outside, yet juicy inside. I can’t stand an overcooked wing, but these were definitely not. They had plenty of sauce, and the flavor was on point.
All in all, I give my experience an 8/10. We have to get the word out about this place and boost their profile. Let’s boost this place up, yall!!!

10/10 definitely recommend!!!I recently moved to ky & this is the best food I’ve had since moving here!!! Super fresh & sooo good!! My new favorite spot… The Buffalo wings were soooo good & had a good flavor , the fish my bf got he enjoyed & said it was well seasoned! Definitely try this small business out

can’t say enough good things about this place. best seafood in louisville!! got the small crab boil & that box was so packed it would barely close. comes w a boiled egg, corn, shrimp, potatoes, & sausage all for $22 (lunch special). crab was cooked to perfection i didn’t even have to use any tools to crack the shell. also quick service- i called in my order & it was ready in 15 mins. can’t wait to try more things on the menu!

Baby when I tell you that sweet cajan sauce needs to be bottled and sold at the restaurant. I could put that sauce on almost anything. Crab legs and scrimp are cook well but not overdone.

First time going, the service and atmosphere were fine, got a shrimp and crab legs boil. It wasn’t the best boil I’ve had, the shrimp was fine, crab legs were ok the sausage and corn was not that good. Probably won’t go again.
