We were on a day trip exploring Cape Disappointment and Long Beach and while looking for lunch spots, we came across High Tide Grill. The great reviews convinced us to try it and we were not disappointed at all.
We were greeted by the kindest Daniel. His warmth and hospitality instantly made us feel welcome. We ordered the Club Sandwich and the Veggie Garden Burrito, and both were absolutely delicious and very filling. The burrito was filled with such fresh ingredients.
Daniel also gave me some homemade green salsa for my burrito made by his mom and it was too good! You can truly taste the love and care that goes into their food. We were so full after our meal that we could not order anything else, but we are definitely coming back to try more dishes. Next time I am especially excited to try Chef Lao’s Prawns, which is Daniel’s uncle’s special recipe.
Highly recommend this place if you’re in Long Beach! Amazing food, wonderful service and a truly welcoming atmosphere.

What a great family owned restaurant. Everyone is super friendly and attentive to you. Food was great. Wife said best fish tacos she ever had. Carne asada was very flavorful. Would definitely eat here again.

Incredible customer service and amazing food! Daniel, our host, was incredibly attentive, warm, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. He truly made us feel at home.
I absolutely loved that this is a family-run restaurant. You can really feel the heart and pride they put into their business. My entire family loved the experience and we will definitely be going back. I can’t wait to see what else they have to offer on the menu!

Wow we were so happy that we found this restaurant because the food was absolutely delicious. The best chilaquiles, because the sauce was on point. The pancakes were tasty and above average of the ones I’ve tried in WA (I like to try pancakes every breakfast restaurant I go). Service is great. Prices are very reasonable. We were there yesterday, January 1st, it was busy, but the wait was worth it. So don’t despair, but wait. I read the history about this place and I’m so proud. In many regards this is a must in Long Beach and around 🙂

What a taste treat we experienced the other day at the High Tide Grille. This new, clean, cozy little joint is worth trying! Not only is the service impeccable, the food was delicious and plentiful! I got the chicken enchiladas with mole. The enchiladas were tender, and tasty. The mole was some of the best mole I’ve ever had. A slight sweet cocoa flavor was definitely present, but it was not overpowering….just perfect. I am no expert on mole, but I found this sauce to be incredibly delicious.
My friend got the Nachos. And boy, they were loaded and good!
I also ordered the Quesabirria special to go, for my husband. Neither one of us has ever had birria before and I can honestly say, we will certain have it again! So, SO good! My husband’s first comment upon biting into one of the dipped tacos was “this is one tasty sauce”.
We will certainly be going back to High Tide Grille and you should definitely check them out!
The staff is top notch friendly and inviting. Good food, good service, two hearty thumbs up from me!

Family owned business. The young man at the front answered all our questions about the menu. He made everything sound so delicious. His mother is the chef, and the food was fabulous. Lovely homey environment. Will definitely be visiting again.

Went to High Tide Grill for the first time. Restaurant was clean, service was great, food was excellent. Fried fish tacos were huge! Quesabirria tacos were good, but needed more flavor. Meals did not come with and sides, like beans and rice, which was odd. We will be back!

My sister and I stopped in for a late lunch at this new restaurant in Long Beach. We ordered the ” Gringa Quesadilla” ( comes with pork, pineapple, and mozzarella cheese. I ordered it with chicken instead of pork) and a Caesar Salad. The Quesadilla was really delicious with the grilled pineapple and chicken. It was hot and fresh and not greasy. Perfection!! The pineapple salsa had quite a kick to it (probably due to the added jabenero) but was quite tasty. Great Caesar Salad which was lightly dressed and topped with fresh croutons. They have a breakfast menu (served all day) along with a full lunch/dinner menu with Americana, Mexican, and seafood choices. Really a great dining experience!! A special shout out to our waiter, Daniel, who was very attentive and informative as to the many special dishes which are prepared at the High Tide Grill. What a “gem” of a new restaurant on the Long Beach Peninsula!! We wish them every success in their endeavor ( we believe they will be a “big hit” because the food is very delish!!). Special Note: The restaurant is very clean, bright, and welcoming inside which is conducive to a great dining atmosphere. Give them a try!
