The owners make all of the dishes with fresh ingredients, many organic. The kimchi is amazing and made by the owners, not purchased bulk through a supplier. The teriyaki and sweet/sour sauces are also made fresh, and taste so much better than any sauce I’ve tasted elsewhere. The sweet/sour sauce is made with organic blueberries, local when in season. Don’t let the building fool you. The food and service within more than make up for the unassuming outside appearance.

My husband and I recently moved to Oakland and were looking for something different for lunch. I came across Migado Korean BBQ and it had really good reviews. We’ve never had Korean style food before and it did not dissapoint. This quiet little mom and pop shop is easy to pass by in its little pocket between Dominos and Abbys Pizza. It has a modest rustic sign, and sits in a an older building. It really doesnt do the food justic so please dont let the first look turn you away. The flavors are a kick! We had a bowl of spicy ramen soup with Bulgogi beef and a side of dumplings to go. The soup had a kick of heat but so flavorful you keep wanting more. With lightly scrabled egg, green onion, and various veggies in and on the side, it all complemented the dish with different flavors in each bite. The dumplings were lightly crisped on the outside with a lively char/charmelized flavor. Add a little of the chili sauce included with it and bon apetite! The lovely lady that took our order happily informed us it would be ready in 10 min. It was piping hot and we didnt wait a moment. It seems this little jem hasnt had a proper introduction in Sutherlin, however I know that if given the chance, locals would be swarming during lunch hour. Dont wait any longer, give it a try! It was truely delicious and made us wish we ordered a few other items to taste and dazzle us more. Will definitly be going back to try the kimchi, and the pancakes!

I was just passing through Sutherlin heading back to Cali from Portland looking for any option other than fast food. I was pleasantly surprised from this little place. Food was excellent! Everything was fresh and at a reasonable price. Staff was really kind and accommodating.Truly a hidden gem! 🙂 Definitely recommend it for anyone who wants authentic Korean food! Will be back for sure when coming through here again!

Wow! I did not expect to find a place as good as this in a tiny town like Sutherlin.
I’ve ate at Korean restaurants from Portland to Colorado Springs and this one is at the top. Well balanced flavors and good spice levels. They only have one pancake option, but it is delicious. Wonderful customer service too. I will definitely be back to try their other dishes.

Delicious homemade food! Very happy I found this place on a road trip back to Portland after 6 days of camping under the stars. My hubby and best friend were looking for a nice quick meal to get us back on the road. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, however the food prepared is flavorful, delicious and made with a kind heart. Will definitely seek out this hidden gem again.

Go here! Everything is homemade including their delicious teriyaki sauce. They stayed open late for us because we got held up in traffic headed there and called to ask their hours. The owners are so nice and helpful! We will definitely return next time we’re near. I left feeling full, happy and more than pleased with the excellent experience. I wish they were closer to my home in Portland!

Have taken over and we were not disappointed. It is a mother son team with the mom running the front of the restaurant and the son doing the cooking. We had multiple appetizers and a couple entrees and everything was excellent. We will definitely be going back.

Wonderfully sweet people and phenomenal authentic food! Had a lovely conversation with the owners while picking a to-go order up. Only takes a few minutes to figure out how special and genuine these folks are. Left with smiles on our faces. Can’t wait to go back. Eat here!

super fresh and great flavors. the bulgogi was incredible. if yoh like it hot this is the spot. the egg roll was the best i have had. the blueberry sauce with them is incredible. worth a stop if you like Asian cuisine. mom and pop place that feels like home. dont let the unassuming exterior turn you away.
