Such a great little sandwich shop! I had the French dip and my friend had I think a chicken club and fries. Everything was really good. The staff was very kind and was great about answering questions. The food is made fresh and it was extremely clean. I will definitely come here again!

East coaster excited to taste a familiar sandwich from back home. I’ve lived 10 miles away from this location for a few years now and didn’t know that until recently. We have been looking for a new spot lately since we have all but given up on Jersey’s Mike due to them constantly messing up our orders and the very obvious “shrinkflation” of their sandwiches. Meaning getting less and paying more. I suppose this is the downstream effect of them selling to a Private Equity firm last year. Another bites the dust I guess. So today I ordered and paid $11.29 or more for three od their popular sandwiches sandwiches, with the intention of cutting them up and doing a little taste test with my husband (also from the east). Well, much to my surprise they have actually out disappointed us even more then the very skimpy Jersey Mike’s sandwiches because at least for around $11.29 you get a “regular” size at J.M.’s . At Capriotti’s you get a tini tiny sandwich for that price. The turkey was dry as all hell and the cheese steak had a weird flavor and crunchy onions, what the???… Anyway here is a picture of the mini cheese steak I paid $11.29 for, with a teaspoon for scale. For $35 I could have got enough ingredients to make hoagies for 4 or 5 people at home and potato chips, drinks and cookies. What a waste of time and money!

I really want to like this spot, however, this is the second time we have absolutely shocked on how bad the place is. The very high prices do not help them at all. Look, this may sound dumb for a sandwich shop but I think that it applies here, especially when you can pay upwards of $60 + for a couple of people.
We have been a total of 3 times ( 2 of which were not good, once we both got sick).
Today, we ordered some food to go, one order was a large tuna sandwich with added peppers of both types. Seems reasonable, right? by the time we drove 3 miles home the tuna sandwich became so soggy, you could barely hold it. The juice from the massive amount of peppers had soaked through the bread and through the papers that wrapped the sandwich and almost through the bag. It sort of feels like the employee had no care in the world when making the food. The tuna to peppers ratio was nearly 1-1! Needless to say to say the sandwich was not eaten. All you could taste was pepper juice. In the photo, the peppers on the plate are from 1/4 of the sandwich the second photos show the other half after we transferred it to new parchment paper, the bread is so soggy you can see finger marks in it and even the new paper is soaked.
Two stars is because the fries and the second sandwich were alright, nothing special.

I am a door dasher invthe Meridian, Middleton, Star area. I accepted 2 orders from them today and I have to say, these guys are absolutely amazing! It smelled like sandwich heaven in there so I went back and ordered some for myself! Their customer service was spot on as both a customer and a dasher today! I spoke with the owner today and shes excited for the new Ten Mile location, and so am I. This place I worth a little sprint to Middleton for excellent food and great customer service! ❤️❤️❤️

Hubby saw this place on his FB feed, so we thought we would drive out to Star and check it out …welp… I think now we are addicted ha ha ha. He got the medium French dip ..loved loved loved ..I got the half sandwich (PHILLY) and the half chopped salad . Picture shows the size difference…so so so good both of them …the bread is super soft ! Next time, we’re just gonna get the 18-inch sandwiches there a bit pricey but can eat in a couple of days …well, maybe, ha ha. They have lots of employees working and looked like in n out, lol. But all very nice kids. Definitely check it out. They opened a couple weeks ago.

What a complete rip off. This is my $11 sandwich with extra cheese. There is barely any meat and one tiny piece of cheese. We ordered it delivered so didn’t see until we opened it. We spent over $40 for this, one other sandwich and a small desert cookie. I love supporting local businesses but cannot do this place again.

Capriotti’s has been a staple in my hometown for years and while traveling I was happy to see one was opened in Star, Idaho. The food was amazing, as always, especially the Bobbie. My daughter has specific dietary needs and the associates were more than accomodating to make sure her food kept her safe. I was able to meet the owners as they were in the shop that day and they are both wonderful people who wanted to bring a great restaurant to the area and are excited to share it with all the locals. I have to travel to the area often and plan on coming to this location everytime I come into town.

Very nice atmosphere and vibes! Very welcoming staff and very friendly! I had a free cheesesteak sandwich because it was my gift for signing up to their free membership! The sandwich was so delicious and the portion is huge and the quantity of meat is huge too! I had their regular French fries and they were so delicious too! I’m coming back for sure! It’s highly recommended!!!

Excellent food!!! Great service, and the kitchen area is spotless. I was a big fan Jersey Mike’s, until I recently tried Capriitti’s. The turkey is freshly cooked daily and they use Wagyu beef. Everything is fresh and high quality. I highly recommend the Star Capriitti’s.

I have come here several times and I continue to get several types of sandwiches from here. Let’s say I have not been let down in coming here. I almost wonder how much weight I have gained indulging myself in their sandwiches. I have had their salads too and recommend the if you are in the feels for a salad to order them. .
