Brought a friend to check out the sauerkraut balls and sliders, and did not disappoint! We came early, so plenty of time to ask questions about dishes on the menu.
Amazed (since we are meat eaters) at how much we loved the homemade veggie sliders. Great flavor and texture. They serve real mac & cheese, too. And the homemade Kentucky pie was so fabulous I could only get photo of an empty plate!
Moss Rose has a fresh, local pub atmosphere with dart games, drink specials, trivia night, painting parties, and new patio coming soon. It’s a nice place to hang out and catch up with friends or meet with colleagues for lunch.
Prices are fair and easy to mix and match what you want to nibble on or share.

Great little bar, hubby got the pork sandwich with waffle chips very tasty. Bartender was great, made excellent drinks!
They have tons of activities all week long, we went on a Saturday and listen to live music which was well performed.
And try the Kentucky Pie! Worth every penny!!!

An owner that cares about the drinks they make and the food they serve, all in a cool little tucked away tavern? Pretty much unheard of in a small town like this. All of the drinks I have had here taste like they are supposed to, and the food? You aren’t supposed to get food this good unless it’s an upscale restaurant (they have an actual chef). Great music and entertainment too! Have been to trivia night multiple times which is a blast and the bands are always top notch. They really do care about this place. Definitely check it out.

Thought I would try this place out since I heard good things. It used to be a real dive but under the new owners it’s real nice. Clean, really nice padio and the drinks are still cheap but so mich better. New bartenders are really on top of it. Great spot to chill and meet nice people. So much better then Rookies. I’ll be going back. Also, menu isn’t huge but the food they serve is all homade and tastes great. If you don’t go there you should try it out.

I like the switch up of the atmosphere oh, and all the booths that they have added for a more relaxing experience. I feel like there’s less drama then when it was rookies. But I also dislike that there’s no pool table anymore.

Much cleaner and nicer but not a appealing bar at night as it use to be. Ohio lottery games use to be a big thing as well which they no longer have. It would definitely bring back more people .
